I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, I groaned in annoyance and quickly slapped the snooze button. Sitting up in my bed I yawned and rubbed my eyes, I was moving on autopilot at this point. I got out of bed, showered, and got dressed in the school uniform. Though today I decided to go without the blazer but left the sleeves unrolled. I stepped out of my room and grabbed a granola bar from my box in the cupboard, once again my granola bars were running low. I really need to tell Zota to stop eating them, after I finished my breakfast granola bar I stepped out of the dorm building. Walking all the way to the main doors of UA, tugging on the doorknob. Though the door oddly didn't budge, I stared in confusion for a few moments before tugging again. The door was locked, Naturally I went over to one of the windows and peeked inside, no one seemed to be walking around. Did I accidentally set my alarm earlier than normal? My next course of action was to check the time on my phone, so I pulled my phone out of my pocket and pressed the power button once to make the lock screen fade to life. I stared at the time, it was the usual time I would be getting to class. So what was wrong? I glanced to right below the time on my lock screen to see what day it was... It was a saturday.
"You have got to be kidding me..." I groaned loudly in annoyance, shutting the screen off and stuffing it back in my pocket before I started grumpily walking back to the dorm building, there wasn't even a point to try and go back to sleep now. I was wide awake, I shoved my shoulder into the doors to open them. Then I stomped up the stairs to my room, I tossed my bookbag onto my bed and got changed into more relaxed wear. I put on the longsleeve shirt I still had on from Suraki, the black and yellow striped one. Then I put on some black sweatpants before walking down to the common room, making sure to grab the TV remote before sitting down this time.
I pressed the red button with the power symbol on it in the top left corner of the remote, the TV flickering to life as I now turned on the satellite box. The channel that was already on at the moment was some random cartoon channel, I watched for a few seconds to decide if this cartoon would actually be worthy of me to blankly watch. Which it was, so I set the remote down beside me and slumped down in my seat. I stared at the screen almost like I was in a trance while watching the show, thought that's mostly because when I'm mindlessly watching something it's very noticeable I'm doing it mindlessly. I didn't even notice that someone had came out to the common room with me until I heard his voice.
"Why are you watching some dumb cartoons?" I blinked a few times, turning my gaze to see Yurin staring at the TV with his eyebrow raised before he turned his head to look at me. "Oh... You weren't really watching it huh?" He must've noticed the way I was just refocusing on my surroundings.
"Uh... Yeah pretty much, was it obvious?"
"Now that I'm looking at you, and since I know how you are when you snap back to reality. Yeah." I rubbed the back of my head awkwardly, turning my gaze away from Yurin as he sat down in the seat on the couch next to me. He had his head laid back as he stared at the ceiling. "What are you doing up so early anyways?"
"I... I didn't realise it was Saturday so I pretty much walked all the way to the school building before figuring it out..."
"How do you... Know what, I'm not even gonna ask how." I sighed slightly, resting my head on my hand in a bored manner as I started to feel a little crappy since Yurin was being pretty obvious about how I was acting dumb. He must've noticed my look, because he sat up a bit beside me and his tone of voice changed. "S-Sorry... I wasn't trying to be an ass about it..."
"It's fine... I'll admit I was being pretty dumb" I chuckled slightly, lying my head back on the couch while I looked over at Yurin. I smiled a bit to show him it was alright, which in return I got a faint smile back. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw some movement from the stairs, so naturally I turned my head to see who it was. It was Sakura, I don't know why but I guess for some reason I wanted to see if there was still a bit of my friend in her compared to her current moody self. So I did a playful finger gun at her and pretended to shoot. That was probably the worst idea ever because what I got in return was a pretty pissed off glare and it seemed like she was holding back walking up on me to yell at me about it. I frowned a bit and lowered my hand back onto the arm rest. What is going on with you Sakura...
