Chapter 35: Hangovers, Hangovers everywhere

~~{Nosido's POV}~~

I woke up in bed next morning, letting out probably one of my loudest groans since I had a killer headache. On top of that, I nearly threw up in bed. Luckily I had made it to the bathroom before I really let it go, I was bent over the toilet and puking my insides out when I heard a tired voice speak from the doorway.

"Pretty serious hangover huh?" I could recognise that the voice was Suraki's, and that was soon confirmed by me seeing him out of the corner of my eye as he knelt down and rubbed my back gently. I tried to respond but I was met with another load of vomit coming out from my mouth, not to mention tears and snot dripping from my face as well. I was never a pretty puker, and this inability to respond continued for about five minutes or so before I slumped beside the toilet with my head resting on my arm. Still close enough to lean my head over the rim and let it go if I had to.

"Maybe I drank a little too much last night..."

"More than a little" He let out a soft chuckle, standing up and stretching for a moment. "Guess i'm playing nurse for ya today, I'll get you some water." I nodded, gesturing for him to head out already as I was left to my thoughts. Though they weren't as screwball depressing as normal lately, last night really helped me relax about things and get my head clear for once. I slowly wiped the excess puke off my lips before washing my hands and forearms off, taking a look at myself in the mirror. I need to talk to my mom at some point... I overreacted. I sighed, drying my hands off and slowly making my way out to the bed. Realising I was in Suraki's room and not my own.

I let my legs give out so I would fall into his bed, letting out a soft huff when I hit the mattress and sighed. Last night really was fun, though next time I need to watch how much I drink. I was about to pass out when I heard my phone ringing. I groggily reached for it on the nightstand and answered it. Resting it against my ear.

"Hello..."

"Hey kid... Jeez you sound like shit, what happened now?" It was Detective Roiyaru.

"Hangover... There was a pretty fun party last night behind the dorm buildings."

"Heh, well it's good to hear that you're having some fun. Listen, I came across somethings. Specifically what seemed to be the League's base when you were kidnapped. We searched the place but no one was there, I think they knew we were coming."

"What? How, that cant be right."

"Well, it has been awhile since you escaped them. They likely knew we would come looking eventually... We did find something though, there was a lab underground. Don't know what it was used for because that was pretty cleared out as well." I let out a soft sigh, slowly sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

"Maybe I could find something? I had a decent look of the place while I was there..."

"That's what I was thinking... Mind swinging by later? We'll head out tonight to get looking."

"Will anyone else be there?"

"The station doesn't want to send too many people in case there is anyone there. Since most cops don't have impressive quirks or any at all, they wanna not risk losing anyone."

"I'll see if I can get Todoroki to come with, he would probably be interested in searching with us..."

"Sounds good with me, see ya later kid." With that, we both hung up. Suraki had just stepped in and handed me the water.

"Who was that?"

"Detective Roiyaru, we're going to be searching the now abandoned League hideout with Shoto if I can get him to come."
