We sat in the living room anxiously, my mom was over in the kitchen getting us something to drink... I already had a feeling what she was going to say... But I didn't want to believe it... I can't have been lied to my whole life... My mom wouldn't do that... Right? Satsuo must've noticed how nervous I was because he decided to rub my back a bit.

"Hey... Relax Nosido... If what we think is going on here is true... I'm here for you... Alright?" I looked at Satsuo, taking a deep breath and nodding.

"Thank you..." After a few more moments, my mom stepped out from the kitchen with a tray, there were two glasses of water on the tray and some snacks for us as well. She set the tray on the coffee table and slowly sat down, staring at the floor as she fiddled with her thumbs. I was about to speak when Satsuo cut me off before I did, being very direct with her.

"Miss Heraki... Are Nosido and I related? Because our similarities are uncanny..." His tone and demeanour was different than when he was talking with his dad. I watched as my mom suddenly stopped twiddling her thumbs, she breathed out slowly and started to nod.

"Y-Yes... You two are... are..."

"Brothers..." I spoke quietly, but it was enough for both of them to hear, I could feel my heart begin to ache. I wanted to scream... I wanted to scream and just blow up so badly... My life had may as well been a lie... My dad not even my real dad, and neither of them thought it would be a good idea to tell the truth to me. Everyone fell silent, that was until my mom spoke again.

"I... I was married to Hitoshi for a pretty short amount of time... Satsuo you were the first born. Your a year older than Nosido... Hitoshi and I got into a pretty bad argument while I was pregnant with Nosido... I ended up leaving him... We filed for a divorce not long after and went our separate ways..."

"Why didn't you tell me mom..." I had my head hung low, I was clenching my fists tightly as I tried to hold back tears. There were so many emotions I was feeling... I was losing it.

"Nosido... I only wanted to-"

"TO PROTECT ME?! IS THAT WHAT YOUR REALLY GOING TO SAY TO ME!" I couldn't help it anymore... I snapped... I needed to let this out. "WHAT WOULD YOU BE PROTECTING ME FROM?! HUH!"

"N-Nosido, please calm down..." And that was the second worst thing you could have said to me, I shot up from my seat. Tears were running down my face with a look of hate in my eyes.

"I AM NOT GOING TO CALM DOWN! YOU LIED TO ME MY WHOLE LIFE ABOUT THIS! BOTH YOU AND MY... NOW DEAD STEP-DAD DID!" I felt a slight grip on my arm, I looked to my right so see Satsuo was holding my wrist. He had a similar look of anger in my eyes, but was trying to tell me to dial it back. My mom was in tears now, I stared at her... I should be feeling something but... I wasn't... There was no feeling left for her anymore... She betrayed my trust for my whole life... How could I forgive that? How could I love someone who did that to me? "I-I'm done here... I'm sorry mom but... You've hurt me bad..." I looked at Satsuo again, and he nodded slightly. He knew I wanted to leave, so he too got up off the couch.

"I-It was nice meeting you Miss Heraki..." I didn't even say a word to her, I stormed out of the house. Satsuo following a couple feet behind me, I felt like I wanted to die. My heart was aching and throbbing as it pounded in my chest, I wasn't thinking straight now. I ducked into an alley, screaming out as I began to punch the wall of a nearby building over and over. I wasn't holding back either, it didn't take long for my knuckles to start bleeding from punching solid concrete. But I didn't care... I pushed passed the pain and just kept punching, that was until Satsuo pulled me away from the wall. I couldn't control myself, instinctively I began to thrash and struggle, trying to break out of Satsuo's grasp as he held me tightly. "N-Nosido! Please! You can't do this to yourself! You need to calm down!"
