~~{Detective Dan Roiyaru's POV}~~
2 hours after the prison transport breakout
"-with countless reports coming in, people are left to wonder who caused the prison transport breakout today. A recent head count of the prisoners brought back into custody reveals that there is still one inmate missing." I tapped my pen on my desk idly as I watched the tv hung up in the corner of my office. They weren't lying about the countless reports, but at least things were dying down. Though with that inmate still on the loose, I definitely could feel problems coming up in the future.
"Detective." I heard a knock on my door frame after the voice spoke, turning my head to see one of the rookies standing there.
"What..."
"I pulled the files you requested, a little outdated. But it's all we have for the current members in the League of Villains." The rookie placed the file on my desk, I took it and opened it up before gesturing for him to leave.
"Thank you, i'll get you lunch another time. I need to look through these." The rookie nodded before stepping out of my office, leaving me alone to look through the file. Inside were warrants out for these villains' arrests, I pulled them out one by one and laid them separate from each other on my desk. Seven members as of now, but we didn't know if they had anyone in reserve. I read each one's descriptions of their quirks closely, but none of them brought up anything involving possibly mind control. I scoffed in annoyance, standing up and overlooking them all. "Gotta be something here that explains what's going on with that kid..."
Hours passed, constant re-reading and reevaluating the warrants and descriptions as I tried to find some sort of lead. But I couldn't make many connections, apart from Kurogiri. His file stated he used to be a student at UA before he disappeared, thought to be dead. Somewhere down the line, it was discovered that he was some sort of advanced Nomu. One different from the other Nomu's the League fancied making. Maybe they're doing something similar with Nosido that they did to him...
Without warning, I heard frantic knocking at my door, I had shut it while I was trying to work through my theory. Swiftly I opened it to see another officer standing there.
"Detective, that kid you've been watching. Nosido, he's out with his superior. They found the last inmate and are trying to detain him."
"Okay... What's the problem?"
"Pro Hero Void is injured, it's just Nosido handling him now. They haven't been able to get help from other heroes just yet." I bit down on my tongue slightly, shaking my head before stepping past the officer.
"Send me their location to the gps in my car, i'll get there as soon as I can." He nodded before rushing off to his desk, I grabbed my keys from my pocket and went out to the parking garage. Getting in my car at about the same time the gps location was sent, turning on my car and shifting gears before speeding off to the scene.
It took me about fifteen minutes to get there, ahead of me was a police blockade with citizens gathered around to see what was happening. Inside of the blockade was a building under construction, many of the top floors were unfinished and even unwalled. There was a news helicopter circling the building, likely reporting on the situation. I went up to the blockade before slipping through and approaching one of the many officers on scene.
"What's the situation?"
"Roiyaru? I wasn't told you were coming here... You probably heard then, but two heroes are on one of the upper floors. Ones injured and the other is doing his best to handle the inmate."
