I had my head hung low as Zota led Hagita and I outside as we stopped just off to the right of the front door, standing in the grass. I took a step forward so I was a little closer to Zota, still having my head low. I wanted no part of this... But yet here I was...
"Speak." I heard Hagita speak in a slightly commanding tone, not making eye contact with either of them while I waited for Zota to start talking already.
"We know you're using your other quirk to mess around is Sakura's mind. If you look at everything since the first day, this isn't who she is. You go through her mind, suppressing things that you want to, so you can control her, Hagita. I want you to stop. No, I need you to stop." I glanced at Zota slightly, he sounded very adamant about this and I couldn't help but admire that a bit.
"And... If I don't? What then?" Hagita responded in a seemingly annoyed voice, his head was cocked back slightly and his eyebrow was raised in curiosity. I took in a deep breath, I needed to back Zota up on this.
"T-Then we'll stop you. Sakura is our friend, and she deserves the truth." I turned my gaze over to Hagita, I knew I didn't sound confident at all, but I was still going to support Zota on this. What Hagita is doing isn't right in any way.
"No, Sakura got the truth a long time ago, and she lost her father and her sister due to her knowing the truth."
I heard Zota let out a soft laugh from beside me. "I don't buy that. The way you treat Nosido, and others, me even, I don't buy that she just 'lost' them. You had something to do with it, you always do. She wasn't suffering until you came back into her life!"
"How would you know that you little runt? You know nothing about her, hell. You couldn't even tell me what her middle name is!" Hagita was quick to snap back at Zota, he was clearly getting pissed off and I was starting to worry that this wasn't a good idea.
"You can't either!" Zota started to shout now "You're not even someone you'd call a boyfriend. You treat her like shit, and wipe her mind making her forget everything that night when I carried her back to her fucking room after you left her there, crying, and shaking! Who does that?! You don't even deserve to be called a man."
In a matter of seconds, I was shoved off to the side as Hagita grabbed hold of Zota. He was lifting him off his feet as he practically screamed into his face. "Listen here you piece of shit. I did her a favor by pushing away those memories."
"Put him down, Hagita! Now!" I grabbed onto Hagita's shoulder, I wasn't planning on fighting. I just wanted to play. I guess the referee here so no one was hurt.
"Or what? You'll hit me?" Hagita shrugged my arm off his shoulder and glared at me. "Big deal. You're nothing but pathetic trash, and you deserve to die. You both do."
"Let go of me!" Zota was starting to pry Hagita's hands off his shirt, quickly yanking his hands off him and twisting Hagita's wrist.
Hagita let out a groan and tore his arm away from Zota. He then turned around to fully face Zota, hitting him across the jaw. I watched him stagger back, as soon as I saw that punch get swung I activated my quirk. Making a tendril of ink and wrapping it around Hagita's arm to hold it back. As soon as he did, Hagita looked over his shoulder to lock eyes with me.
"Stop." I watched as a silver light grew in Hagita's black eyes. And soon, I froze up. I couldn't control my body or mind anymore as all the color in the world drained to a silveri-ish blue hue, and only that hue. My quirk deactivated and my arm hung at my side, I stood there like a marionette doll waiting for it's puppeteer to control it. It felt like sharp claws were ripping through my mind, I didn't understand what was happening and I couldn't think. All I could do was watch as the fight ensued. I couldn't even hear Zota as he screamed at Hagita, he was muffled and almost mute, But Hagita's voice pierced through the muffled reality. Much louder than it would normally be.
