It was a short drive back to the city, but a longer drive to reach the office building Shoto worked in. Of course, he owned the office. It was the hero agency that he owned, it was passed down to him from his father's time as a hero, so there were many things throughout the building that honored his career. Stepping into the lobby of the building was... Overwhelming. I hadn't ever been in a hero agency before, let alone even an office building. There were many older people passing throughout the lobby while others were waiting, most likely to be checked in. Todoroki-Sensei had led me to one of the elevators, he called it and once it arrived we stepped inside. We waited there for maybe a minute or so for others to step inside, I was given a few weird looks by some of the older men and women in the elevator with us. They were probably wondering why some random kid in a hero costume that looked like it was made right at home was following around their boss and pro hero, Shoto. I couldn't help but start to feel pretty uncomfortable, I glanced around at the others in the elevator nervously as the doors to the elevator slowly veered to a close.

Finally, after what felt like hours. The elevator door opened again for some of the people to be let off, luckily no others had got on. Floor by floor, more people stepped out of the elevator or got on until it was finally empty again with just Todoroki-Sensei and I left inside. The elevator went up, the number on the display getting higher and higher until we reached the top floor, where Shoto's office was. The elevator doors opened up to reveal another lobby, much higher class than the one at the base of the building. Towards the center was an interns desk, but the intern didn't seem to be there at the moment. Todoroki stepped out into the lobby, and it took me a few seconds to even realise I was supposed to step out as well. He was already halfway towards his office by the time I made the realisation and stepped out of the elevator as well and jogged over to be back at his side.

"I hope my employees didn't give you too weird of looks. I don't have kids visit here often."

"It's fine, it didn't bother me too much." That was a lie, but I figured he wouldn't notice. He unlocked the door to his office and stepped inside. The lights were off but with the large windows, the room was pretty well lit.

"Feel free to take a seat by my desk. Would you like something to drink? I have tea."

"Tea will work fine" I smiled at him faintly before walking over to the chair in front of his desk, taking a seat and relaxing as I sighed softly. Todoroki walked over after a few minutes with two cups in his hands, handing one to me before heading to his side of the desk and sitting down in his chair.

"I'm glad you could come on such short notice, I know things will be getting much busier at UA since the sports festival will be arriving soon... And after that, internships begin..." I felt my heart drop slightly, I really didn't feel good about this stuff at all. I wasn't ready for the publicity that was bound to come with both of these things. Granted I already had caused quite a stir in the news with my kidnapping, but that was different. That wasn't going to be how good I was at being a hero and fighting, Sports Festival was.

"With... All due respect sir... I don't wanna talk about Sports Festival, I'm really nervous about it right now and don't wish to have it on my mind..."

"Why are you nervous? I think you'll do great... Which brings me to what I wanted to speak to you about." I had a curious look on my face when he mentioned that. Shoto set his cup down on his desk and stood up, walking over to one of the large windows and looking out at the skyline. "Nosido... As you may know, this used to be my fathers agency... He has trained many great heroes here and so have I... But... There's something I've been wanting to do..." I stared at Shoto in confusion as he spoke about the buildings past, soon he turned to face me once again. A serious look on his face. "In the past... Most of the heroes that work and train here have been mainly fire based... That being because of my father's quirk and my left side... But I would like to change that, lately I have been recruiting heroes that don't have fire quirks." Todoroki stepped towards me, resting himself on the corner of his desk as he looked down at me. "Nosido... I would like you to intern at my agency... Should you choose to accept, you must understand that things will be hard. I am offering you this because to me you have already proven your worth to me, but if you come here. You will need to keep proving that your fit for heroics."
