Tania's POV

"I don't deserve your love." I whispered as my tears continue to stream down on my cheeks. "I don't deserve you, Xav." I added.

He looked at me. Tila ba hindi ito makapaniwala sa mga sinasabi ko.

"Then what do you deserve? That asshole?!" I was taken aback by his sudden reaction.

"I can't just let him have you! After all these years?! I pursued you, Tania. I can't just let him have you, again." Napapikit na lamang ako sa sinabi niya.

"But I can't just keep on hurting you, Xav." I whispered.

"I know nasaktan na kita and staying in your life will hurt you more." I said. "I don't want to hurt you." I added. I tried to hold his hand again but he moved away. He looked at me na parang ayaw nitong maniwala sa mga sinasabi ko.

"Then choose me so you won't hurt me." He whispered. Umiling ako sa sinabi nito. I tried wiping his tears pero umiwas ito.

"I can't do that, Xav." I said.

"Let's.. Let's just end this." I whispered.

"Fucking no!" Biglang sigaw nito. Tinignan ko siya and he is looking at me with those cold and serious eyes.

"We have to end it, Xav. Ayoko nang mag sinungaling sayo. Ayoko nang saktan ka." Saad ko pero umiling ito sa akin. "Let's break up." I said. I gather all my strenght to stand up and get my bag. I don't think staying here with him will do us good.

I already caused him a lot of pain. Choosing him and staying in his life will only add more pain. Maybe I have to choose what's better for the both of us even though it means losing him as my friend.

"No, please don't break up with me, Tania." Umiiyak ito ngayon as he grab my leg and hold on to it. I tried to avoid looking at his eyes dahil nasasaktan lang ako na makita siyang nakaluhod sa harapan ko.

"It might seem cruel. No, I might seem cruel but I'm doing this for us." I said. Nakatingin ako sa taas stopping my tears from falling.

"I'm grateful to have you all through out these years. I'm grateful and happy to have you by my side. I have loved you. I tried." Huminga ako ng malalim stopping myself na humagulgol sa harap niya. "But deep inside me.. I know it's still him whom I love the most, Xav. I'm sorry." I continued.

"No, please. Tania, damn no."

Inalis ko ang pag kakawak niya sa akin at agad na nag lakad palayo sa kanya. I heard him screaming but I chose to ignore and continue walking away. I have to endure it. I have to.

"Mag papakamatay ako!!" I was stunned with his last words. Sinubukan kong humakbang ulit.

"I'm going to kill myself, Tania!" He repeated. Hindi ko alam ang dapat kong gawin. I slowly faced him but to my surprise..

He was holding a gun pointing to his head.

Dumoble ang mga luha ko seeing him like this. W-What did I do to this man? What did I do that we ended up being in this situation?

Ang saya palang namin but now we're both here crying and hurting.

"Xav.." I called his name trying to calm him down.

"Go ahead and leave me. You will never see me after that.. You will never see me alive and fvcking breathing." He threatens me.

"Xavier please.." Sinubukan kong lumapit sa kanya ngunit umatras siya.
