"What's exactly wrong with her?" I ask Mercy as she wheels me to Star's room.

Apparently, she was also in an induced coma to help a speedy recovery of all her extremely damaged organs. But her recovery was still uncertain, there was still a possibility she might gave up.

It has been a complete day since I woke.

Jaden didn't say a word after our last conversation and neither did I attempt to start a conversation about any of our unaddressed issues. Thankfully, I found him in the room as I woke earlier this morning, looking a lot more relaxed but not rested at all. For now, being in each other's company was enough for the meantime.

He said he had to make a quick trip back to his apartment to catch up with his missed days at work and promised to be back by this evening so that we could talk about everything, EVERYTHING.

Christopher has not even made an attempt to visit my part of the facility. Mercy confirmed to have bumped into him after his return from getting a change of clothes and refilling his coffee a couple of times. And heard he was planning to move Star to a different facility.

The rest of the crew dropped by whenever they could luckily, I was asleep most of the time so I didn't have to put up with the blames and accusations.

"I know," Mercy says looking at Star through the window as if thinking about ways to snap her life line, "She doesn't deserve to live! I saw everything!" she goes on.

"What are you talking about, you surely hadn't mentioned this earlier?" I ask clearly not catching up. And loving the sound proof hall ways. Made to keep sounds in rooms and foreign noises out of rooms.

"You seriously don't recall a thing about the accident, do you?" Her accusing tone pierces through me like a knife and I try to push away the tears that threaten to fall.

"She's the reason why I almost lost you and Norah! She was faking it! I saw her spike her juice back at the house but of course no will believe me. So, when Norah was filming the last hours of our trip, I hacked her phone and linked mine so that I could keep an eye on star.I didn't want to freak Norah out when I was telling her about how I saw the entire thing. Am sorry I didn't get to you sooner!" she confesses and I lose every bit of control I had.

"What do you mean it's her fault? I was the one driving! I was the one who did that to her! You should be blaming ME! Not HER! Did you really think lying to me was going to help me sleep better or feel less responsible?" I yell forgetting that were in a hospital with people trying to get rest and relief from their pains and am here causing them even more discomfort! I guess I'm worse than Mercy. Oh yeah, thank the sound proof halls of the ICU.

"I saw the whole thing! Okay maybe most of it. And no one believed me because I hadn't saved it when the connection broke and I lost everything. What do you mean it was your fault?" she looks at me now even more suspiciously.

"I know! I just KNOW! Okay! Now can we just drop this." I say and wheel myself out of Star's Wing. Guess the trip up was useless!

'Though we're not yet dead, it sure is boring lying here in outer darkness with no one trying to wake us up, you know? We could just undergo a seizer or something to get someone's attention!' my logic complains.

'Should definitely do more charity work after this, might just get unlucky next time don't you agree?' I think to myself again.

I'd been unconscious for so long I got tired of not being able to at least open my eyes, move a finger or even turn. How have I been urinating?

'Should have thought about that sooner, not after you've exhausted your thinking capacity trying to figure out how long we've been like this' my logic retorts. Yesterday after my heated argument with Mercy I asked the doctor to give me a sedative seeing I was unable to fall asleep and the pain was just intensifying by the conversation. Get it? Anyway.

Yesterday after my heated argument with Mercy I asked the doctor to give me a sedative seeing I was unable to fall asleep and the pain was just intensifying by the conversation. Get it? Anyway.

Early in the morning I was awake but faked it after I heard someone walk in. thankfully it was Jaden and he just came to see if I was awake and dropped off some more roses.

'so sweet' I thought.

Lucy walked right in after he left so I needed to keep up the act if I was to be left alone with enough time to think about everyone and everything going on.

"Hey! I'm really upset with you right now," I heard a so familiar voice scold, "Especially if you're going to think about not waking up before my wedding day! Oh Thernicy, I-"

"Babe, let's go get you checked up first then we can come back and hang with Thernicy and Mercy is bringing Norah over so we can't overcrowd her room. Doctor's orders!" Sage reminded Lucy but I felt her hold on my hand tighten.

"She'll be alone again. Why should I listen to the same doctor that couldn't wake her a few days ago?" she fumed and likely shot daggers through her eyes at him.

'I'm sorry I can't wake up yet.' I thought again wishing I could do more than just think.

"Please don't be like that. Mercy's already on her way here, we'll be back before you even know it!" I felt him get closer from how loud his voice sounded.

"Fine but if anything happens, we're coming back here." She responded and hesitantly let go of my hand.

'So much for wanting attention! Being unconscious sucks!'

"I'll be back before you even know it okay?" Lucy said and kissed my forehead before leaving me alone once more.

As the day progressed, I decided to visit Star again hoping I could jog my memory a little. And maybe seeing her injuries might help with my case.

Norah had just left for her daily physio-therapy, after having caught me sneaking from the bathroom. We talked for a while and it was refreshing in a way.I was so happy to see her breathing again! I don't know why I felt this heavy relief wash over me each time. But it was like a post orgasmic type of relief. You know that point when all the pent-up stress and emotions just merge to create a blissful and relaxing experience.

Okay that was a bit of a stretch but you get idea.

Passing through the long and thoroughly bleached halls I can't help the nausea that begins to form from the pit of my stomach and I fear the janitor might not like the accidental mess am yet to decorate the hall with. But before I can, something, well someone gets my attention that even my own guts settle back down as I follow the figure to the east wing where the ICU is.

'Isn't that sexy aunty-Jackie?' I recognized Star's mum as she creeped into her daughter's room. Isn't she supposed to be in Russia or something? I get off the wheelchair and drag my drip to her slightly open door to ease drop. On an unconscious person's conversation? You are really losing Tennis. I think.

'Mum, what are you doing here?' Star asks uninterestedly and probably just a figment of my imagination. Of course, we know translate almost dead people's thoughts. I point out sarcastically.

But realize what just happened and I'm stoned. She's awake. But she's not suppo-
