THERNICY'S POV
Loving the Feel of the earth beneath my bare feet as I race back to the stream a mile away from our cabin. We'd come out to the wild in hopes to get away from the busy New York City vibes and honestly it was my first time being away from my comfy and spacious apartment right in the heart of New ...
"Hold up. Wait a minute. How am I back in Oregon? Wasn't I shot?
What's going on..." I think to myself but couldn't seem to get my mouth to say anything out loud.
I felt panic arise and tried to open my eyes but it was hard★★★
Real time
LUCY'S POV"Guys is I don't know how much longer we can keep delaying this...
It's been Eight months already. I think we need to let her go." She sighs, her tone filled with exhaustion and pain. But her eyes kept in them hope, a hope for a miracle.THIRD PERSON'S POV
"No. We're not giving up so soon. If you guys don't want to stay here, you're all free to leave. Am about to read her the new chapter anyway. I think you should all just go." Norah argued almost yelling at the thought that dared to cross Lucy's mind.
Her Friend had saved her life. She was finally happy to be able to confess her emotions to the love of her life and owed so much to her best friend for being the reason all this came to be. And now they were starting to give up.
It was nearly a year since the accident and they were going to give up on her after everything she did to make sure they were all happy and okay.Even Star changed her ways and finally realized how important she was to her but they were all ready to just kill her.
" I think Norah's right, we should give her time. There have been much worse cases that took even 18 years just for one to recover and gain consciousness. It's been only 8 months. We still have alot of other alternatives to help her." Emmanuel reasoned.
Mercy, Anne and Abraham were silently watching the exchange but couldn't seem to pick a side from the confusion and turmoil in their expressions.
Jaden looked by far the most defeated of the whole bunch, with hardly a wink of sleep for days and all he did was watch her steady heartbeat on the machine beeping next to her bed.Christopher had left to get some essentials for everyone who had agreed to have a snack before leaving at the cafeteria along with Terry.
Sage was still unable to face anyone after learning his that his escapades with star are what lead to all the commotion between him and Lucy as well as thernicy's accident eight months ago on their way back from Oregon. He had immediately called off the engagement with Lucy and she of course didn't take it well.
Unfortunately she had a miscarriage but after a few weeks decided it was for the best.Star on the other hand had always blamed him for her failed relationship with Christopher because she never did get over him. And now that he and Lucy were about to get married she wanted to hold it off for as long as she could.
So earlier she had laced Thernicy's dessert with a hallucinogenic substance to make her lose control knowing fully well that they get help in no time when the others arrived."Alright then. We'll go but Jaden please you need to get some rest. Let's go. We'll come back in the evening." Lucy reluctantly agreed and tried to reason with her friend before his condition worsened.
"I am not leaving her." Was all he was able to croak out before falling silent again.
It was the first response he gave anyone since they had arrived.
He had been so withdrawn and barely moved from his spot unless he needed to relieve himself or get another coffee before heading out to change his attire."Fine. Let's go guys." Lucy said rising from her seat and headed for the door with Anne, Star, Mercy and Emmanuel on her tail.
"Chapter 30, De ja Vu, a piercing sound rang through the church and everyone was silent apart from the commotion being witnessed as the bride's dress was stained with her blood on her lower left..." Norah readout to her sleeping friend.
Hoping and praying she'd one day
Open her eyes and be the ray of sunshine she always had been since they met.
