ACT TWO, CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE
Sentimental Value

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

WHILE DEREK AND ISAAC BROUGHT CORA BACK TO THE LOFT, Andi went with Stiles and the Argents. The last group of people to be sacrificed were guardians and Stiles was telling them how on one of the forms in the ambulance, there was the section where the signature of a parent or guardian was needed and that gave Stiles the idea that the connection between his dad and Melissa was that they were parents who were also guardians to their children and tried to warn Chris. Unfortunately, he didn't seem to believe that he would be the third and final target.

"You more than anyone should know that I haven't quite lived up to the role lately. If anything, Jasmine has been doing a better job than I have these past few months," Chris said as the four of them walked into his study and Andi scoffed.

"I'm sorry, did you just say my grandmother should be the one to be taken next instead of you? The only family I have in this town and in my life at this point?" she questioned with her arms crossed.

"That's not what I meant. Looking at you, she did an amazing job guiding you and teaching you and compared to her, I haven't been living up to the role of a guardian," Chris said.

Andi narrowed her eyes as she stepped closer to him. "Yeah, well she kind of had to because my parents wouldn't. If you ask me, you did a way better job than them," she said harshly and Allison took her arm and pulled her back a bit.

"Dad, Jennifer took Scott's mother and Stiles' father. That's not a coincidence," she said.

"I'd also like to add the fact that your name was written in big block letters on the elevator doors. If that's not a warning, I don't know what is," Stiles pointed out.

"I think it might be Morrell. She knows way more than she's letting on so she might be trying to help us," Allison said.

"Well, she needs to get on that because the lunar eclipse is in less than two nights away," Stiles said as he sat down and Andi's interest was piqued at two of the words in his sentence.

"Back up, did you say a lunar eclipse is coming?" she questioned and Stiles just shrugged his shoulders.

"Yeah. Very quickly and right now, very bad," he answered.

"I think I know a way we can use the upcoming eclipse to our advantage," Andi said.

"At this point, we need everything we got," Allison said.

"Witches draw power from nature, celestial events and even other witches to make them stronger. I can draw power from the lunar eclipse and it might give me more than enough power for whatever Jennifer has planned. If I'm lucky, I could even draw enough power to take her down completely," Andi explained and Stiles sighed.
