ACT THREE, CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE
Mercy

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD SHE HAVE EVER THOUGHT SHE WOULD BE FIGHTING AGAINST HER FRIENDS. She never would've thought that they would be her enemies. But she was tired. Tired of being expected to solve everything and feeling like they were judging her whenever she couldn't. She was tired of bearing that weight on her shoulders and listening to people claim they understood what she was feeling when they didn't understand a thing. They had to understand now.

But even through all of those thoughts, she could still hear Lydia's voice in her head pleading her to fight the darkness. But what darkness? She didn't kill anyone and whatever she did do wasn't anything she hadn't done before when fighting enemies. Breaking someone's neck was a new move for her and the Twins were her enemies. But were the really? Or were they just doing what they had to do because of Kali and Deucalion? It didn't matter because people still died because of them so they still deserved to suffer. But they weren't the bad guys anymore and were trying to help.

Everything was all wrong. She was tired but she didn't want to be the enemy. She didn't want to be wicked even though she already proved them right. She already proved that she was capable of evil acts but she didn't want to be evil or wicked.

"I want you to kill them all," the deep voice whispered in her ear as she swallowed the lump in her throat.

"I don't want to," she replied quietly. The deep voice growled as she tightly closed her eyes to fight back the tears. "Please. I don't want to do this anymore."

"Kill the others and I'll be kind enough to spare your boyfriend. You already got a taste of what it would be like to lose him. But if not, you can just watch as I kill everyone you love. Your friends, Isaac, your family," he said.

"And then what? You kill me?" she asked.

Her stomach twisted when she heard his demonic laugh in her ear. "You get to live with knowing that everyone you've ever loved is dead because of you. Either way, I get everything I want," he said.

She swallowed the lump in her throat as she looked at Lydia. The Nogitsune grabbed Andi's arm and pulled her up. "They're out there right now, fighting to save Lydia. They know you're already too far gone, don't they? Maybe they figured there's no point in saving you. Maybe they know that the only way to put a stop to you is death. I guess it doesn't matter how this ends, does it? You're already dead," he growled, speaking in Stiles' voice. "But before you reach your demise, you still have to go out there and show them who you become, who you truly are."

The Nogitsune dragged her through the building until they were standing in front of the others with the Oni standing right behind them. Aside from the Nogitsune now having full control over the Oni, there was no way they could ignore the person standing in front of them. None of them wanted to believe that the girl standing in front of them with pale skin and dark eye circles was the same friend who helped them, the same friend who they have grown to love ever since she arrived in Beacon Hills.
