ACT THREE, CHAPTER FIFTY Make Them Suffer

ALL OF THEM WERE FRANTIC AND FREAKING OUT. Even when Kendall showed up and started working to help Ethan, they were all still in a state of shock while Deaton worked to help Isaac and Aiden. Whatever Andi did to Aiden to numb his legs wore off and all he could think about was his brother. Kira and Allison were wondering if they actually witnessed what they did or if it was their minds playing tricks on them but given everything they have heard and seen, they doubted it was the latter.
"Did Andi really do this?" Kendall asked as she wiped blood from her nose as she helped heal the last of Ethan's injuries.
"I'm still having a hard time believing it myself, but yeah. She just came in, attacked them and then snapped his neck. That should've killed him," Kira said as Kendall helped Ethan up so Deaton could help him recover from whatever possessed him to do what he did.
"He's a werewolf and it doesn't seem like she did it with the intention to kill," Kendall replied.
"For some reason, that doesn't sound very comforting," Kira said.
"She wanted them to feel what she felt the night Boyd died. She said she felt helpless and guilty and she wanted them to feel the same," Allison said.
Ethan gagged while Deaton's hand was down his throat until a fly came out of his mouth and landed on the wet floor. All three werewolves were recovered and were soaked with water and coughing.
"The Nogitsune was going on about that and honestly, I can't help but feel like he was right. How many times did we rely on her to help us and how many of us besides Isaac asked her how she was feeling? God, even when I knew she was being corrupted by that damned book, I still iced her out when it was clear she needed help. Do you guys remember how awful she looked when she showed up at Allison's?" Kendal asked as she paced around the room.
"Right now, we need to figure out how we defeat the Nogitsune and save Andi without killing her," Deaton said.
"Wait, what?" Isaac asked while leaning against the wall and Kendall sighed as she looked at him.
"Witches who were ever corrupted by the book had to be killed because it was the only way to keep them from using its dark magic to destroy the world. I know there has to be a way to save Andi without killing her but right now, we have nothing. Apparently, trying to talk to her isn't working and I can only imagine that antagonizing her will only piss her off even more," Kendall said with her arms crossed. "She even attacked her family before coming here. Bashed her dad's head into the wall and now he has a concussion and I think Jasmine is losing hope for her."
"So, if no one can find a way to save Andi, she's gonna keep bashing skulls and breaking necks?" Kira asked and Kendall nodded.
"She's not even using her own magic anymore. She's using chaos magic and it's very powerful and very dangerous. She's capable of doing way more damage than she could've done with traditional magic at her level and the same rules that apply to traditional magic can either be broken or bended when using chaos magic. That's why she can use so much without it taking a physical toll on her body but I'm worried that if we manage to save her, it's gonna have a mental toll on her mind," she said.
