one hundred seven ; baby clothes

It takes me all of five minutes to get in and out of the shower and dressed, but it takes Calum almost an hour to fully get moving. He was busy basking in the sunlight. He pulls through a starbucks, tipping the girl in the window and extra twenty because he's in a good mood. I can't help but laugh at him.

"Why are you in such a good mood?"

"Well, we're out of quarantine, you're safe here and i feel like i won't have to worry about anything by the time we get home. AND we made it in time for Simone's wedding, and to meet baby Hellie."

"You have worse baby fever than most girls in their 20's. It' a good look on you."

"I just love babies! And the pictures of her are so cute, how could I not be excited to see her?" He pulls up to the grocery store. "Have you texted to see when we can visit yet?"

"No, but i'm sure we can see here this weekend, I think jeremy is home too."

"Well, do it when we get home," i laugh as we take a cart and wander through the door.

"Bossy!"

We're good, as usual about getting mostly healthy things but when we take a trip down the snack food aisle - Cal slowly starts tossing more and more junk in the cart. I let him, watching him pick between cookies, and sweets, mumbling to himself about ice cream. He disappears and i continue wandering, messaging Simone quickly to see if we can visit Hellie.

I bet Calum is stupid excited to meet her isn't he?

I chuckle to myself. Calum has always been a big fan of babies, and i know he's excited to have one, or two, or well probably as many as we can. But Hellie, being his Goddaughter is top priority now that we're back home in Aus.

He reappears with two tubs of ice cream, holding them high with a smile on his face so i can see them and i laugh. He tosses them in the cart, giving me a careful kiss on the cheek before he takes control of the cart for the rest of the aisles.

"So, Simone said we could swing by tomorrow to visit if he wanted. She said she'd provide the snacks."

"Uh, yes, we absolutely have to do that," the smile on his face is huge, "we have to stop by a baby store, we need to get her some cute little outfits."

"We can do that, but that means you need to drive the car faster cause we need butter and cream still."

"Alright, i'm going, i'm going." The smile on his face never leaves as he pushes the cart. Even when we get in the car it's the same, the only time his expression changes is as we pull up to the closest baby store and even then it only get wider.

"I know what she needs," he rushes into the store, practically sprinting and i have to hold back my laughter. When i make it in the store, I can spot him easily.

Towering over shelving, even while he's bent over. He has a huge glimmering smile on his face while he picks out different sizes of band shirts and I laugh.

"Do you need any help?" He shakes his head smiling at the woman as i come up to his side and she smiles. "Do you two have a little one at home?"

"Not yet, these are for our goddaughter." He has about ten shirts in his hands, all in different sizes and all different bands.

"I'm sure she'll love these."

The woman packages the shirts up for Calum, who's smile still hasn't left his mouth yet. When we leave he wraps a hand are my waist loosely, sighing. He kisses my head and says carefully,

"I can't wait until we have babies. They're gonna be cute, and badass."

"Glad to see you're excited still."

"I'll always be excited. Anything to do with you makes me excited."
