Steve's POV

"Where is he?!" I demanded.

Thor stood there in shock, his axe covered in an unnatural blood color, but it was on the ground.

"Where is he!?" I asked again.

Vision's head was ripped where the stone used to be and Wanda looked up at me, pained. Then suddenly, she started to turn gray and then flaked away.

No. He did it.

And Courtney... she...

"DAMN IT!" I screamed, throwing my shield at a tree in anger.

Cries of terror rose up as people began to fade away, but I couldn't hear any of it.

I punched the tree, ignoring the pain in my hand and the fatigue in my body. Someone grabbed my shoulder and pulled me away. I blindly swung at her, but she dodged.

"Steve. We'll get her back." Natasha told me.

I looked at her.

"How?"

She looked down, looking almost as hopeless as I felt.

"I don't know."

I heard an inhuman cough and I perked up, looking around until I spotted movement.

Natasha and I shared a glance before we walked over, eyes wide and weapons up.

I spotted the blue woman, laying in the bushes, clutching a wound, the one that Courtney had given her.

"Thanos left you." Natasha said.

The woman growled and I stepped forward.

"What did you do to Courtney?" I demanded.

"I sent her to Thanos. You'll never see her again." The woman said.

Red entered the edges of my vision and I stepped forward angrily, but then Natasha put her hand up.

"Why?" She asked.

Our enemy looked up at me and smiled, "To bring back his daughter from the dead. Courtney's blood will paint the halls of his warship."

And then I lost it.

Tony's POV

Courtney laughed, watching as Nebula and I played a game of paper football.

"Think you could do better?" I asked her.

She smirked, "Of course I could, but I don't want to embarrass you two."

Nebula glared and I rolled my eyes with a smirk, ignoring the pain in my stomach.

"You had fun?" I asked Nebula.

She paused, not understanding, before finally she nodded.

"I'm going to go then. See you guys later." I said as I pulled myself up.

"You need help?" Courtney asked, immediately standing up.

"No, I'll be fine." I muttered as I strained to get to the controls room.

The two of them exchanged a glance before Nebula walked away and Courtney sighed, laying her head down.

The two of them were the only ones with me on the ship. Nebula never disappeared, not like everyone else. She was a cyborg, so she didn't need to eat as much. Courtney was miserable for a long time, she never ate any of the food we had found on the ship, which wasn't much.
