Scream.

"GAH!" I cried out, sitting up and accidentally falling off the side of the bed.

I looked around and saw a giant room with a bed, not a pile of blankets in a broken down apartment. Oh right, the snobby rich lady kidnapped me with her rag-tag group of weirdos.

I got off the floor and sat on the bed, looking around the room, trying to remember what I had been dreaming about.

If I could only remember what I was dreaming, maybe I would be one step closer to finding out who I was before I woke up in that dumpster. Maybe... maybe even if I had a family.

A loving mom, a dad, little siblings, older siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, anyone. I would take anyone at this point.

And I missed Jake and Damian. They must be so worried and scared without me.

I looked at the roof and smirked. I climbed on top of the bed and then the bedposts, barely hanging on as I reached up for a vent cover.

I popped it off, which was surprisingly easy and climbed inside, which was extremely difficult. I started crawling through the unnaturally large vents until I saw something on the wall.

A map.

There was a map of the vent systems drawn in sharpie on the vent wall. I felt a gust of warm air and rolled my eyes. Who would do this?

Anyway, I looked for the best exit and found a laundry chute to the laundry room, which was near an underused stair case. Then once I got to the bottom floor, the vent led to an alley, which was on the side of the building.

I smirked and got on my way.

As I went along, I found tons of things up here. Markers, arrows, doritos, knives, spitball straws, spitball amo, flashlights, a remote controler for something, and a little pile of rumpled blankets.

It almost reminded me of home.

I saw the laundry chute ahead and crawled forward, holding a stolen knife in my hand. What? It was nice.

I slid down and landed at the bottom with a thump. Once I crawled out, I looked around and spotted the next vent.

But before I got there, the entire room locked down and a holo projection of... Tony I think... popped up. It glared at me.

"Clint. I know you did something and are trying to escape the building. After getting caught last time, I thought you would know better than to think I was bluffing about putting motion detectors in a laundry room that no one uses. Either way, Cap thinks you could use some training as a punishment. Try not to get blood on the floor."

Then the projection clicked off and the vent popped open. I ran over quickly, but then darts started shooting out of the walls.

I yelped and expertly dodged them all, excluding two or three, until I reached the vent and jumped inside.
