Common plot of every fixed marriage, sa una parehas nilang ayaw then eventually fall of each other.

It could also be either because of debt or para makabayad ng utang. But ours are different....

Kung mag-eexist siguro yung taong sobrang matigas at walang pakiramdam, mukhang siya na yun....

We've been married for years but I didn't even hear any endearing word coming from her nor feel any affection from her.

She's existing pero hindi mo talaga siya mararamdaman. We both hated the fact that we end up together but neither of us don't want to let go.

This is clearly a marriage for nothing...

"Master Wen... Andito na po si Empress Keira" one of our eldest helpers announced that was followed by the sound of clicking stilettos against the wooden polished floor.

She's right. Dumating na nga yung asawa kong ilang libong taon ng kasal sa akin pero never kong naramdaman.

Yes you heard it right, we're already thousand years married. I am once a vampire... A vampire prince, but somehow Keira—that witch, make it a point that would made me stay alive nang hindi daw nagkikilos bampira. If you know what I mean.

"Sino yan?" Agad niyang tanong sa akin nang makarating siya sa study room sabay turo sa babaeng katabi ko.

"Ipapalit ko sayo? Astrid she's Keira... Keira  this is Astrid." pagpapakilala ko sa kanilang dalawa.

"Ah... Ipapalit... Okay... Lady Kim, handa na ba ang lunch?" Sagot ni Keira sabay tanong kay Lady Kim.

Agad naman pumasok sa study room si Lady Kim at sinagot yung tanong ni Keira.

"Opo Empress Keira...." - Lady Kim replied and lead the way towards the dining hall.

"So... What's your full name?" Keira asks Astrid as she were slicing steak.

"Astrid Lee...." Astrid shyly retorted making Keira send her a lethal glare all of a sudden.

"Kilala mo ba kung sino ako?" Tanong ulit ni Keira kay Astrid. I know na naiintimidate na si Astrid sa ginagawa niya kaya naman kinalabit ko siya para sabihing itigil na nya toh.

In return, Keira slammed her hand against the table which made the bread knife suddenly floats and point towards me.

"Is there anything special with her?" She asks and slowly turn her gaze on me.

"Why? Would you even care if there is? If there is something special to her that you don't have?" I replied and flash her a sly grin.

Keira stayed silent for awhile and continued eating her lunch as well me and Astrid.

"See.." I mumbled but I know it was audible for her. But just like I expected, she wouldn't even care.

Ever since naman, alam naman ng lahat na wala siyang pake sa akin or sa relationship namin. I don't even know kung bakit kinikeep pa namin tong set up na toh... Kakapagod na eh.

Parehas naman kaming aware na di namin gusto ang isa't isa. So bakit pa?

"Lord Keira Ashtaroth... Mag- usap ng tayo." I said calling out her attention.

"I've always wanted to ask you this question... Noon pa talaga."

"Go on.. Itatanong mo..." She nonchalantly replied before taking a seat across me.

"We both hated this idea, we hate each other, we don't care for each other...... But why do we keep this relationship anyway? Bakit pa natin toh pinagpapatuloy kung wala namang rason?" I asked her in succession.

"Hayss..." She sighed.

"Tama... Yeah... Wala naman talagang rason... Ayaw natin sa isa't-isa. Kaya kung sasama ka na kay Astrid. Then go...." She just simply said and was about to leave.

But suddenly, I felt something that urge me to stood up and harshly grab her by her waist.

" Bakit ka ba ganyan? Huh? Does the idea of marrying me means nothing to you? " tanong ko sa kanya habang magkalapit kami sa isa't - isa at parehas na diretsong nakatingin sa mata ng bawat isa.

"Lemme return the question to you Jun... Does me saving you that day wasn't even worth to be called affection?" She in return and lightly push me and was about to walk away.

"Wait...." I said.

I thought she wouldn't listen, but she halted her tracks and waited for what was I'm about to say.

"You're right... And I'll be always thankful that you saved me that day. Kahit na sarili mong kalahi ang kinalaban mo.... And I knew that hurts you a lot..." I said and started to slowly walk towards her.

"Maybe I was a bit inconsiderate tha—"

"No... Stop it... I 'm letting you go... You're free.... Ako din eh.. Pagod na ako sa ganito kaya... If  you really love Astrid... I'm letting you go...." She said at saka naglakad palayo....

Present Time

After that night hindi ko na siya nakita.

" Hoy Jun, halika dito... Tignan mo toh! " Someone called me snapping back from my thoughts.

" Wait lang Myeon-Ah..."  Saad ko pero hindi ko parin naawat si Myeon-Ah sa paghila sa akin papunta dun sa exhibit na gusto niyang ipakita sa akin.

"Tignan mo Jun yung portrait... Ang ganda niya..." Myeon-Ah said in awe while we're both standing in front of it.

"Everyone, this the portrait of the last witch of the Ashtaroth Clan. This is Lord Keira Ashtaroth. She also became an empress for a short period of time. And it was also believed that she past away after setting her beloved free." the tour guide stated.

" Because she wanted to change herself for the man she loved the most... " Narinig kong bulong ni Myeon-Ah habang titig na titig sa protrait ni  Keira.

" Tingin mo... Masaya na kaya si Keira? " Tanong ko sa kanya. She quickly diverted her gaze from the painting to me wearing the sweetest smiled the everyone could see.

" Tingin mo... Tingin ko kasi, masaya na siya." She replied and brought her gaze back to the protrait.

" Ikaw Jun ah....pasikreto mo pala akong pinipinta... Akala ko ba ayaw mo sa akin..." She mumble at saka humarap ulit sa akin.

"Wa—" I was about to speak yet she cut me off when  she suddenly peck me on the lips.

"By the way... Maganda... Nagustuhan ko... Anyways tara na... Gutom na ako...." She said and tag me along with her.

I guess we also have the same ending like others, it's just that we have a different plot.

"Myeon-Ah... Pwede ba tayong mag-mukbang mamaya?"

"Huh? You mean mag-vivideo habang kumakain? Sure why not..." she replied innocently.

"Ende.... Yung..." pagkontra ko sa idea niya pero di ko na tinuloy nang mapansin kong kumukumpas na naman yung kamay niya...

"Joke lang... Ikaw naman eh..."

"Usto mong maging palaka?" Medyo inis niya tanong sa akin.

"As long as ikaw ang kikiss sa akin why not." I replied para lalo siyang maasar.

"Sige patuloy mo lang yan......." She said with an annoyed smile.
