Heaving out a deep sigh, Jacob kept his phone to his pocket and made his way to the quad where Cielo was alone and making some of the props for their stage play that will be held the day after tomorrow.
"Kain ka kaya muna..." Jacob softly said to Cielo so that she won't startled by his sudden appearance.
Cielo instantly lets go of her scissors and hugs the guy beside her, along with that, faint sobs also start to be heard.
"Ayon... Shh okay lang yan." He cooed while his hands were running in circles on her back.
"It's okay Cieliee..." He continued.
Jacob knew that hindi ikukuwento ni Cielo kung bakit siya umiiyak, or bigla nalang siyang nagzozone out ng matagal. And he understands it, however there's a part of him as someone who has a genuine concern for her..that wants to know everything that bothers Cielo. So that she won't feel like she's all alone... Well not really alone, just somewhat like that ....
"Para kang si ano eh. Di kumakain ng maayos..." Jacob scoffed as he watched Cielo happily eats her waffer sticks.
"Kambal ko nga yon... Magkaiba lang kami ng birthmonth... By the way thank you... For bringing me my comfort food." Cielo said flashing him a feign smile.
Alam niyang fake yon, the problem is he can't do anything about it. And another thing, He knows that there's only one person who can make those smiles genuine... The most kinda painful fact - he clearly knew who it was.
"parang andami naman ata nyang props na ginagawa nyo? Saka sa isang araw na yan di ba? Pwedeng makinoud?" He said, now helping Cielo in organizing the finished props from those na gagawin palang ni Cielo.
"Well, detailed kase ang gusto nung dalawang nilalang na lagi kong kasama...plus napakaperfectionist pa ni Cara, wala akong magagawa.." Cielo stated.
"Eh di ba... busy ka din? what about the book you're working on? paano yun?" The guy asked, he seems like more anxious about it that Cielo herself.
"Yaan mo na muna yun, mas mahalaga acads kesa dun. The main reason why I declined that offer from that webtoon company. You know I'm not that good at time management.." Cielo reassured him, " Saka pang relaxation ko lang naman ang pagsusulat." dagdag pa nito making Jacob look at her with eyes wide open.
"Relaxation?! Pagsusulat?! Cie, ilang characters na ba pinatay mo sa mga sinusulat mo? That's quite alarming..."
The most hilarious laugh was suddenly heard around the qaud as Cielo let out a loud laughter upon her friend's statement, knowing that Jacob is one of her friends na nakakabasa ng ibang mga drafts na ginagawa niya.
"Well, you know sometimes stories aren't enough to express once emotion..."
"Kaya pumapatay ng character? Wow..."
Another laugh was once again heard, tawang tawa si Cielo sa mga remarks ni Jacob about her being a writer.
Eversince, Jacob knew that it was really her dream to become an author someday, kaya naman nang maikuwento ni Cielo na she was once offered an opportunity to write for a webtoon company wherein she also declined it, para bang nang hinayang din siya. But what can he do?
As they were having a chitchat at the qaud, Jacob can help but to watch Cielo, feeling satisfied na napapatawa nya ito. Tho he can't make her genuinely smile, he can say to himself na lamang na niya na kaya niyang patawanin si Cielo.
"Uy Cie... Goodluck sa play nyo ah..." He said before walking inside their house.
"Thank you Cobbie... " Cielo replied back, before getting in as well.
