"Hmm... I heard, you really hated this day of the month, why tho?" Dawon asks me curiously.

"Does it mean you hated me too?" He added making me chuckle loudly.
"No! I don't hate you!" I immediately deny as I assume he will be sulky at me. "But yeah, I do hate this day of the month... Yet it doesn't mean I hate you... You don't know how everything changed when I met you." I explained, which made him smile at me cutely.
"What was the reason then?" He asks, obviously intrigued about the story.
I was speechless for a moment, asking myself if I was ready to tell that horrible story from years ago. Yes, it's been a couple of years ago, yet the scar of that incident still remains...
"You know it's fine if you're not ready to tell it... I'll wait" he said.
Just then, the bells of the cafe's door chimes indicating that a customer just arrived. And for unknown reasons, I turned my head towards the entrance only to see the person who became the reason why I hated this day.
I wished I didn't turn my head in the first place, so I did not see her face ever again.
"You okay? Why are you crying?" Dawon asked me in distress, and he was right I'm tearing up and I didn't even notice.
"Hmm...I'm fine. I'm fine." I said firmly wiping my tears off and flashed him the brightest smile I can show.
You can do it, don't ruin his day okay....
"You sure?" He ask me again, this time I was more calmer than earlier, yet I just nodded at him in response.
"Let's go... We still have a lots of places to go. " I said getting up from my seat which made him looked at me in surprise.
"Really?! Woah!"
"Of course! I didn't come all the way here empty handed you know."
After spending a whole day of fun, we decided to wrapped up the day walking at the park, enjoying the cold night breeze with our hands holding each other....
"You know..." He mumble then we both halted our tracks as he made me face him. "I might not know why you hated this day of the month, but I hope I can be the reason for you to not hate it anymore." He stated and teasingly poke my cheeks.
"I guess you do not have too... Since you already are..." I smiled and poke his cheeks in return.
"Let's go again? I still have like three hours left before my flight back." I said excitedly as I tagged him along.
