"Wahh at last we've finally able to finish this research project... This is exhausting...." I grumble and lay my head on the couch behind us, as we're seated on the floor.
"I agree... This work is really draining. But anyways I got to go now. It's getting late anyway." She said gathering up her stuffs and was about to stand up when I pulled her back.
"Can't you stay here fot tonight? I mean... Like you said, it's getting late already. Isn't dangerous for you to go home by yourself? Promise I'll walk you home tomorrow.... Please?" I said trying my best to convince her.
I can obviously see that she's contemplating whether to say yes or no. I understand that, cause you know...
" okay... I'll stay for tonight.... " She smiled sweetly to me.
" That's great.. So what do you want for dinner?" I ask her.
"Hmm how bout... Having a pizza, chicken and soda? While watching movies?" She suggested which I immediately agreed with.
While waiting for our food, both lazily sitting on the couch across each other with our feet rested on the coffee table. Our phones suddenly lit up and showed a notification from our school.
" Aww... We just wasted all our time and natural sagacity for that research...." I stated in frustration a throw my phone beside me.
" A bit sad, but at least we're ain't the ones who did it..." She smiled.
"Oh! I guess our food is here.... I'm going to get that real quick." She said upon hearing the doorbell rang.
