Chapter 6-Felt Right

It's finally the day, today Hope is leaving to go for a tour with Waterparks. She doesn't care that she's been on multiple tours as just herself, this is the most exciting.

Nicole should be at her door any minute so Hope can take her to the concert. She's thankful she agreed, Hope wants her best friend to be at, at least one of her performances.

Hope grabs her suitcases and bags, wallet, phone, and keys and takes everything to the door when she hears a knock.

"Hey Nicole! I'm so glad you could make it." Hope pulls her in for a hug.

"Well thank you for inviting me. I'm so excited to see you and your other friends performing together!" Nicole exclaims.

"Nicole, I'm just opening, I'm not performing with them at the same time." Hope tells her, grabbing her things.

"Not from what I heard..." Nicole teases and smirks.

"What do you mean? Did Awsten tell you something?"

"I can't be the one to tell you, he said he'll tell you when we get there. Now hurry, we don't want to be late for a big night!" Nicole says and helps Hope take her things downstairs.

"Now that's just unfair, you know I'm going to be asking you the whole drive there...right?" Hope asks.

"You better not, or I'm taking the wheel and we're going straight back to your apartment."

Hope starts up the car and they're on their way to soundcheck. Is Awsten going to tell me as soon as we get there? Or is he going to tell me right before I go on stage to get me even more excited? Does this mean I'm performing every show with them? That'd be so fun, maybe that WILL happen.

Hope is so distracted she almost runs a red light and cars start beeping at her.

"What's on your mind? You seem a little...distracted." Nicole asks.

"It's because of what you told me. Does this mean I'm performing every show with them?" Hope asks, and starts driving again.

"Again, Awsten is the one that has to answer that question. But he can't know I told you anything about this. You'll have to wait till he tells you on his own. Okay?"

"Fine." Hope pouts.

An hour passed and they pulled into the venue. Hope gets even more nervous because of what Awsten might tell her.

Am I crushing on him? Oh shit I might be, I mean, how could I not? God, what am I thinking? If I'm going on tour with them for one and a half months, what's going to happen?

"Hurry up you little bitch!" Nicole teases Hope.

"I'm coming, I'm coming! Don't rush me, jeez." Hope runs to her and they find Lucas standing at the doors waiting for them. "Hey Lucas, long time no see!"

"Hey Hope, yeah it's been a few weeks, are you ready for this? I think all the fans are expecting a lot tonight. They've already gone crazy on Twitter asking Awsten if you're performing with them." Lucas says, showing her to the green room and taking her things to go to the bus.

"Here's the thing. Did Awsten want me to perform with the band for the whole tour? Nicole told me something about that."

"Maybe, but he has to tell you on his own, don't say anything about it to him, or Geoff and Otto. You got it?" Lucas begs.

"I got it, Nicole already told me that, so my lips are sealed."

"Good, now just in there are the rest of them,"Lucas points to the door. "practice starts in 20 minutes, I should be back in ten."
