7:04 P.M.
Hope and Awsten have been counting down the days until they finally got to see each other in person again. While it's only been nine days, to them it felt like nine months. Awsten's been begging Hope to show him her new song, but knew that he could only hear it when it was officially the release. He just had to survive five more hours.
He told her he would meet her at baggage claim waiting for her. There was no way he could wait until she was at his house.
Awsten was practically jumping out of his seat when she texted him that the plane had landed, and he hoped to god that nobody would take pictures of them.
Hope's POV
I needed these people to get off of the plane faster, seriously, could they be any slower? I already have a headache from these crying babies and peoples' music being too loud, and I just want to get off so I can see my boyfriend. Is that all too much to ask?
The line started to finally move, and I had already got my bag from under my seat and was ready to get off.
I didn't know how excited Awsten was to see me. I could see some enthusiasm in his messages, but you should never tell how someone feels by just looking at their messages to you.
I made my way down the ramp behind the majority of the people from the plane. I tried looking above other peoples' heads but I eventually failed at it. The line was going too slow for my liking and I got annoyed very easily.
It took about five more minutes to finally be in the airport and I was weaving around families to get to where Awsten said he would be, I couldn't wait any longer. I was practically running at this point.
I found the crowd of people collecting their luggage and I knew I was in the right spot. It also didn't take me long to find Awsten's bright purple hair among everyone's natural.
As I got closer, I could see that he was looking completely in the wrong spot, away from me. He looked ridiculously adorable by just being confused.
I yelled out a quick "Awsten!", and he looked right at me immediately. I could see him smile as our eyes met and I started moving faster to him. God, I just need to be in his arms right now.
He started walking to me and about ten feet away I dropped my bag onto the floor and he immediately took me into a hug once I was in front of him, lifting me off of the ground a little bit. I couldn't believe I was with him again. We knew it was obviously going to happen at one point sooner or later, but neither of us were patient about it.
"I missed you so much, babe," I heard him say into my ear, I could cry at this moment.
Awsten quickly let go of me a few seconds later, which made me confused. "Why'd you let go?" I asked.
He scratched his head for a second before answering, "I just don't want people to take pictures of us hugging, it'll send them the message like we're dating, and you know how people assume things. Even though they're right I-"
I couldn't handle Awsten talking like this, I've said it way too many times to the public denying that we were dating, even if I was lying, and I was. So, I hugged him again, wrapping my arms around his neck.
I could hear him sigh and he hugged me around my waist.
There was nothing that could ruin this moment, but I knew we shouldn't do that for very long, or else people will start getting more suspicious of us.
So, we finally pulled apart, and waited for my suitcase to arrive.
