It's been a few days since Hope's last talked to Awsten and she's gotten a little confused. Well, she was the one that said she would talk to him every day and she never has. It was stupid of her to think he would text her first when she was the one to say that. She's scared to talk to him first, maybe he was too?

Hope sits silently in her room in her thoughts, wondering if she should talk to him first or if she should wait for him.

She finally decides to call him, slowly taking her phone off the small table by her bed and goes to Awsten's contact, calling him.

Just a few rings and Awsten answered his phone, thankfully.

"Hey! Looks like you finally called me." Awsten said teasingly.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry I haven't talked to you in a while, I guess I was just scared that you wouldn't answer me?" Hope sounded confused to her own words as she talked.

"Scared? Why were you scared?"

"I seriously don't even know."

Awsten quietly laughs at her response, "Don't even think to be scared that I wouldn't answer. I'll always be glad to talk to you."

Hope's face turns pink and she doesn't say anything back to Awsten, so he speaks instead. "Aw, looks like I made someone a little flustered, didn't I?"

"I-I mean..yeah," Hope answers shyly.

"Okay, now what do you want to talk about? What's been going on?" Awsten quickly changed the subject to save her from more embarrassment.

"Well, I slept a lot. But Nicole and I went for dinner last night to celebrate the tour, I wish you guys could have been there, it was great."

Awsten sighs, "Yeah, me too. God, I feel embarrassed for saying this but I really want to see you right now," He admits.

"That is the most adorable thing I've ever heard you say."

"Oh come on, leave me alone," Awsten laughs again.

"Not when you said that. That's so fucking cute."

"If you keep laughing at that, I'm going to hang up on you." Awsten tried to sound as serious as he could, but he immediately started laughing even harder after what he had said.

"Alright, I'm done. Now what have you been doing?"

"Nothing right now, I just finished a movie with my parents. Now I'm just in my room and bored," Awsten lets out a small laugh after he heard what he said.

"What were you guys watching?"

"Gone in sixty seconds, my dad is fucking obsessed with that movie and he won't watch anything else. I've tried to have him watch others but he doesn't really care. Oh! Did you see the music video we did for blonde a few days ago?"

"Absolutely, why wouldn't I? That song has my favorite vocals ever, your voice is incredible."

For the next couple hours, Hope and Awsten spend their time catching up on what they've missed about each other and what they did during the days they haven't talked to each other.

(Skipping a few days because I have no ideas for the others)

(Awsten's POV)

I was actually surprised when I started packing my clothes early rather than waiting until the day I leave to start packing.

I have to leave early in the morning to catch my flight to New York tomorrow, I want to get to Hope's apartment early to surprise her so we can have as much time together as possible before I leave back for Houston on Monday.

It's currently late on a Friday and it was pretty relaxing, my parents were out for dinner together and my sister, Gracie was out somewhere with her friends. Talk about visiting family and then going out with friends, huh?

It was easier to know what I needed for this weekend because I know what the weather in New York will be and I only need enough clothes for three days.

It took me a few days to find what I needed to give Hope for her birthday and god, I really hope she likes what I got her, I need tomorrow to be perfect. I think it's going to be the day I ask her to be my girlfriend, but I don't know if she's ready and that always makes me have second thoughts on asking her.

But I have the biggest crush on this girl and I have for years, and in the few months that I've known her had only made me grow more in love with her.

I want to show her that I can treat her so much better than the people she dated in the past and gain more of her trust since I know she has trust issues from all of them.

What I'm most excited to do this weekend is show Hope a new song I recorded, the one I showed her while we were on tour, but wasn't recorded. I know that I'll probably be nervous, but I need to show her this, this song is for and about her.

Right after I finished putting the last of my things into my bag, I hear the door downstairs shut and light footprints go upstairs, it must be Gracie.

She opened my door, then looked confused at seeing me zipping up the last bag. "What are you doing? Finally running away like you threatened to at eight years old," she laughed.

I rolled my eyes at her joke, "No, I'm going to New York to see Hope tomorrow morning, I'm going to be there for the weekend and I'll be back home Monday."

"It's about time you get to see your little crush again, you wouldn't stop talking about her and it's only been a little over a week."

"First off, don't call it a little crush I don't like that, and second, I'm going to ask her something important when I see her."

"Does she know you're going to see her?"

"She has no idea," my voice might have sounded a little too excited when I answered her.

"When do you have to leave tomorrow?"

"Five in the morning, I'm already so fucking tired."

"Then go to sleep." Her tone was like she was mocking me because I've stayed up now until eleven at night, but she was laughing as well.

"I think it'll be too hard for me to sleep, no matter how tired I am right now."

"Well I'm going to sleep, g'night." Gracie closed the door before I could say anything else and I was once again, left alone in my room.

I'm finally in my bed, rolling in different positions to find the right one, but my heart was beating faster than normal. The thought of seeing her again made me so excited and my mind cloud with thoughts.

After what was probably two hours, I finally slept, but I only had just a couple hours until I needed to get to the airport.
