definitely going to be a short chapter for this one!

Hope woke up feeling Awsten's arm around her, he started moving but wasn't awake yet. Geoff and Otto were asleep somewhere in the house, she couldn't remember much of last night. She forgot most of it after midnight hit.

She managed to sneak her way out and didn't wake him up, walking to the bathroom to brush her hair and teeth. That was when she remembered she had no toothbrush. But she couldn't just wake Awsten up for something that small. Maybe someone else was awake that she could ask?

With just a single thought, Hope quietly walked downstairs, thankfully, Ginny was already in the kitchen.

Hope looked in the living room, then she found where Geoff and Otto were still sleeping.

"At least there's another person in this house that doesn't sleep in," Ginny laughed to her. "Geoff and Otto were supposed to leave ten minutes ago and look at what they're doing now."

Hope laughed along, unsure of what to say to the clearly un-funny joke she was told, "I was wondering if you guys have an extra toothbrush that I can use?" She felt awkward asking.

It didn't come as much of a surprise to Hope as Ginny was glad to get her one to use for the day.

She left to go back to the bathroom and finally could brush her teeth; she wasn't expecting to come back into Awsten's room and find him already awake and scrolling on his phone while in his bed.

Awsten looked up to her and smiled. "Good morning," he said in a giddy sing-song voice. Putting his phone down, Awsten reluctantly got out of his bed and gave Hope a quick kiss.

"Good morning," she said back, smiling.

"I know the perfect morning for us. I'm going to spend an hour getting ready because I require it. We'll wait for the old guys to leave, then we hit Starbucks... and I haven't really figured out the rest, I just want coffee right now."

"I'm surprised that after only being awake for a few minutes, you could think this far ahead," She laughed. "But that's totally a great idea you have."

"I know, right? You just have to figure out what to do for a whole hour before I'm ready to go. I'm sure Gracie already left earlier because she's in college."

"Well, Awsten. I'm not sure if you saw me this morning but I look like a wreck and need to get ready too," Hope stated.

"Okay, okay," Awsten surrendered. "But I get the bathroom first." Then he was off rushing toward the bathroom, even though nobody else was going fight him for it.

Hope laughed at his enthusiasm and picked out some clothes from her bag.

It wasn't necessarily an hour like Awsten has said, more like thirty minutes, before he was ready to leave.

Geoff and Otto left the house shortly after, yet before Hope was ready, herself.

Everyone seemed in better spirits after last night, as if the pressures and trials they went through before the release were all gone or never existed at all. It was for the better, though.

Hope walked downstairs to find Awsten on the couch talking with his dad, Jet sitting in between the two of them.

"I'm finally ready," Hope stated, walking behind Awsten and putting her hands on his shoulders.

"Look who's actually the one that took an hour to get ready," he joked, standing up and walking to meet her where she was standing, grabbing her hand and leading her outside to the car after they both said bye to his parents.

"Okay, so our first stop is Starbucks, then I have a surprise for you after since you came here as a surprise for me yesterday." He paused right beside the car, feeling his pockets for a quick second. "Shit, I almost left with my wallet in the house. I'll be right back."

Before Hope could respond, Awsten was already opening the front door and rushing into the house.

As she waited, Hope just scrolled on her phone, looking for something to keep her occupied.

There was something she heard, like feet pounding on the sidewalk toward her. Then she heard her own name, "Hope!"
