Chapter 11-Easy On Me

October 10th, 2017

Awsten's alarm wakes everyone up, like every other day. Everyone complains and stays in bed, "Can you please turn that shit off?! Some of us are still trying to sleep!" Geoff is obviously hungover from the previous night. "Oh shi-" Geoff jumps out of his bunk and runs to the toilet, everyone can hear him throwing up and gagging, which only makes a few others gag from hearing him.

"And that is one of the many, many reasons why I don't drink." Awsten made a point. "Well I guess no one is going to get up. It's never too early for a movie."

Awsten grabs a disc from his bunk and puts it in the player.

"Even more noise? Awsten do you ever shut up." Otto yells.

"Shhh, you're making even more noise than him!" Hope calls back.

"Everyone shut the fuck up! Turn your movie on low and help Geoff in the bathroom" Lucas orders Awsten, and he does as he's told.

Am I really that annoying? I didn't see if they had a problem with it before? I hope this is just results from last night and they aren't genuinely mad at me. Awsten thinks of the worst whenever people get mad at him, or complain about what he's doing. Awsten told himself he'll think about it later and helps Geoff clean himself and the bathroom. Somehow there's puke in Geoff's hair and all over his hands. It's over the toilet seat and the floor, not to mention it smells awful.

"It's going to be your fault if we run out of cleaner and toilet paper, also clean oxygen, seriously, what have you been eating?" Awsten sprays the floor and Geoff gets clean clothes, heading to the shower.

"I really don't know." Geoff says, genuinely confused, he can't remember half the stuff he did last night.

"Alright, now I'm going to watch a movie in peace, and it will be turned down. You guys are always so grumpy in the morning I don't even know why." Awsten goes back to the couch.

"What are you even watching?" Hope whisper yells from her bunk.

Awsten hesitates, thinking she'll think he's weird, "Umm, Matilda."

"Are you serious?" Hope holds back a huge laugh as hard as she can, still letting out a quiet one.

"I've already watched every movie we have in here except 'It Follows'...hey, like our song!"

"How many movies did you bring?" Hope asks as she get out of her bunk.

"I don't know, like 13 maybe? But I already watched them before we left."

"Then why didn't you bring any you didn't watch?"  Hope sits down on the couch.

"I don't fucking know. You were there when I was packing, I only got what I could find in my room."

"Okay, okay, just watch the movie." Hope says and takes out her phone.

Awsten starts playing the movie, it's only a few minutes until he notices he's the only one watching it.

"Whatcha doin'?"

"Just going through Twitter. Since it's getting close to the end of the year, people are expecting new songs to be released. Which is good time for them to talk about because I'm going to do just that next week."

"Ooo, can you show me the song?" Awsten asks eagerly.

"I'd rather you wait till next week but the name of it is Easy On Me. Now that's all I'm gonna tell you until it releases."
