CHAPTER 33

Kanina pa napapansin ni Azrael na parang wala sa mood si Nyx. Kararating lang nila sa mall at nararamdaman na niya ang gutom niya.

Nasa isang sikat na bilihan sila ng mga luxury bags at tumitingin sila ng pwedeng magamit nito dahil nga nanakawan ito

He looked at her aimlessly looking at the bags.

"Hey." Pukaw niya sa atensiyon nito.

"Ah..."

"Wala ka bang gusto?"

"Masyadong mahal kasi dito. Ang liit-liit ng bag six digits na."

He smiled. "We can look for a bag someplace else. Can we eat though? I'm feeling hungry."

Bumakas ang guilt sa mukha nito. "Sorry. Nalipasan na tayo ng gutom kaka-ikot natin."

He shook his head and caressed her hair. "It's okay." Binawi naman niya agad ang kamay nang ma-realize ang ginawa.

He took her to a nice restaurant but when they got there, the server greeted them happily.

"Good afternoon, Sir. May couple's special po kami today. Tamang-tama ang dating ninyo ni Ma'am."

"Ah we're not..." sabi ni Azrael pero nakapasok na ang server.

"Halika na."

Napatingin siya sa kamay nitong nakakapit sa pulsohan niya. She was pulling him along with her.

It feels so nice to be held by her...

When they were seated, he was just looking at her. She was smiling now. It just puzzles him how she can be very moody. He knew her as someone who is not hot tempered. Napakamalumanay nga nito laging magsalita.

He was lost in his thoughts when she asked him a question.

"May gusto ka ba?" She said looking up from the menu.

"Sa iyo?" He uttered. He face palmed mentally. Nice one, Azrael.

She smiled but her cheeks were blushing. How could she looked pissed off then radiant in a snap?

"Sa menu." She was biting her lip as if suppressing her smile.

"F*ck, of course." Tumikhim siya. "Sorry."

"Okay ka lang ba, Azrael?"

"Yeah. I'm just hungry."

They proceeded to order. He really wished the order will come soon.

Nangingiti si Nyx habang nakatingin kay Azrael. Wala siya sa mood kanina nang malaman niyang may nakabingwit na sa puso nito. Pwede naman niyang tanungin kung sino pero hindi siya handa malaman kung sino.

She still had a huge crush on him of course. It is more than infatuation, she knew. But he's just being a gentleman and a gracious host. They will, after all,  be business partners.

Pero siyempre, sa kakulitan niya, tatanungin niya pa rin.

"Modelo ba iyung babaeng nagustuhan mo?"

Kumunot ang noo nito. "Modelo? No. Where did you get the idea?"

Nagkibit-balikat siya. "Sa tingin ko lang kasi mga ganoon ang tipo mo eh. Saka mga ganoon ang nakakasalamuha mo."

He chuckled and shook his head. "No, she's not a model."

"Hmmm...member din sa Versailles?"
