Third Person POV
Kyler paced back and forth as he listens to the phone ring. Come on, Jer... pick up- he almost dropped his phone when Jeremy answered and his voice came through the phone.
"Kyler," an exasperated sounding Jeremy started, "I'm at practice, why are you calling me?" he asked.
Kyler rolled his eyes. "Nice to talk to you too, cuz," he grumbled.
Jeremy rolled his eyes. "Hurry it up, bud. I have practice," he told him, tapping his foot against the ground as he looked back at his team.
"Alright, but you need to go get your brother," Kyler told him.
Jeremy groaned. "Kyler..." he whined. "Isaac's on the other side of the field doing track," he reminded him
"And I'm sitting with a group of kids who are laughing at me because this is their first impression of us," Kyler responded, sounding annoyed. "Go," he told the seventeen-year-old twin.
Jeremy rolled his eyes, starting to jog over to the other side of the field. "Why are you sitting with other people?" he asked curiously. "You hate people," he points out.
"I don't hate people when it comes to Theatre, though," Kyler responded, shooting an obvious, and slightly exasperated, look to the boys with him.
A few of the boys snickered quietly.
Jeremy gasped. "Oh my gosh, the cast list is out today!" he whispered, realization setting in. "We all made it?!" he asked excitedly, still keeping his voice down.
Kyler smiled. "Get your brother and I'll tell you who we are," he told him.
After another minute, Kyler heard Isaac's annoyed voice from the other line, too.
"Jer Jer, I have practice. Why are you bothering me, you annoyance?"
"It's not me today; it's Ky."
"What does he want now?"
Kyler rolled his eyes. "Wow, they both really love me today, huh?" he grumbled.
The boys sitting with him laughed.
"Kyler." Isaac groaned. "I have practice, why are you calling us?" he complained.
"Cast list, dummy," Kyler stated.
Kyler heard Isaac gasp.
A boy next to Kyler muttered, "wow, he was just straight out with him".
"Who are we?!" Isaac asked excitedly.
Kyler bit back a smile. "Mike and Ike and two background characters in the Theatre," he informed them.
Isaac and Jeremy grinned, high fiving each other.
"And you?!" Isaac asked him.
Kyler grinned. "Mush Meyers and Bill Hearst," he answered.
The twins cheered through the phone.
"We're so proud of you, Kai!"
"That's amazing! We knew you could get him! I mean, you're practically Mush in every way!"
Kyler laughed, looking around at the other boys he sat with.
Multiple of them were clapping quietly for him or smiling.
Kyler took a joking bow, causing most of them to laugh.
"Hey," Jeremy started, smiling, "we gotta get back to practice-" he told him.
