- Chapter 77 - Yay for Musical Karaoke -
Warnings: fun, slight mentions of illness, but it's mostly all fun
Third Person POVGabriel set up the camera to face the stage.
Josh popped in front of it. "Welcome back to Musical Karaoke!" he exclaimed. "Alternatively known as 'Andrew type casts his cast mates, except he's not bad at it'!" Josh grinned.
Gabriel chuckled. "Seems accurate," he said as he focused the camera.
Josh nodded.
Gabriel turned the camera. "There's Andrew," he pointed him out.
Josh giggled. "And Mary's with him, again," he added, using a teasing voice.
Gabriel chuckled.
In all honesty, both boys knew Mary was with Andrew to make sure he didn't hurt himself and that he was okay. He was still recovering from being sick, so while he could talk loudly and walk and act now, Mr. Johnson (and Mary) were insisting he shouldn't push himself.
They had also FaceTimed Declan in so he wouldn't feel lonely or left out, and Mr. Miller promised to do more Musical Karaoke when Declan was feeling better.
"Okay!" Andrew looked up at the cast. "For the first one, you need to be your Newsie! Act like them!" he told the cast.
"Oh God," Gabriel muttered.
"Noah as Regina George," Andrew read off.
Noah laughed loudly. "Can I be Race?" he asked, raising his hand. "Technically, I play him since I'm Emilio's understudy," he pointed out.
Andrew nodded. "Sure."
The boys around them laughed.
"This'll be great," Gabriel said to himself.
Josh nodded in agreement
"Olivier as Gretchen!" Andrew announced. "Josh as Karen, Kennedy as Janice, Rowan as Cady, and Jesse as Damian," he finished.
"Oh, is this Meet the Plastics?" Nathan asked, leaning forward in his seat.
Andrew smirked, nodding.
"Oh goody." Gabriel chuckled as they got on stage.
Emilio stood next to him. "I'm excited to see how this turns out," he voiced.
Gabriel nodded.
Jada walked over to them. "This isn't the musical karaoke I'm used to," she mumbled, sounding confused.
Gabriel chuckled. "Andrew casts us because he can't sing," he informed Jada. "You are allowed to request songs and stuff, and people you want to sing the song," he explained. "If you chose a song and no group, he chooses the group, same the other way around."
Jada nodded.
The song started.
Rowan looked over at Noah, Olivier, and Josh. "Woah. Who's at those newspapers over there?" he asked.
Jesse covered his eyes, stifling his laughs. "Don't look at them, just don't!" he exclaimed.
Noah looked over at them, an intense look in his eyes.
Jesse chuckled weakly and waved. He turned back to Rowan.
Jesse: We call those three "The Plastics"
They're shiny, fake, and hardKennedy: They play their little mind games
All around the BoroughJesse: They might insult your clothing
Or make fun of your Newsie name

Hayran KurguDeclan laughed out loud, looking over from where he sat lazily in a chair. "Andrew can't sing, but he's an amazing actor, that's why he got Teddy Roosevelt and Nunzio," he commented. "And cause they were down an oldsie," Jesse muttered as he watched...
