- Chapter 12 - From French with the Delacours to Group Shipping with the Cast -
Warnings: Just teasing, not really any bad stuff
Third Person POVReagan knocked on the door to Aurora's house.
It opened after a minute, revealing Aurora's mom.
Reagan smiled. "Bonjour, Madame Delacour," she greeted.
"Bonjour, Reagan." Mrs. Delacour smiled. "Looking for Aurora?" she asked.
Reagan nodded. "We have rehearsal," she informed her. "I was wondering if she and Lila wanted to walk with Liam and I." She gestured to the little boy who was sat on the sidewalk near the driveway, picking at grass.
Mrs. Delacour looked back. She smiled. "I'm sure they would love to," she responded. "Would you two like to come in? Lila's just eating some... uh... des fraises in the kitchen."
Reagan chuckled. "Strawberries?"
"Oh! Yes!" Mrs. Delacour smiled. "Merci."
Reagan nodded. She turned around. "Liam!"
The tan-skinned boy looked up.
"Lila's eating strawberries in the kitchen, want some?" Reagan asked him.
Liam shot up and was by her side in under ten seconds. He smiled cheekily at Mrs. Delacour. "S'il vous plait, Madame."
Reagan looked down at him, slightly surprised. "You speak French?" she asked.
Liam giggled. "Lila's been teaching me stuff," he informed his sister.
Reagan chuckled, ruffling his hair. "I swear your French accent is better than mine," she commented.
Mrs. Delacour smiled at Liam. "Come, come," she opened the door for them to go into the house. "The kitchen is that way, Liam." She gestured in the direction of the kitchen.
Liam ran off to the kitchen.
Reagan and Mrs. Delacour chuckled.
"Mama!" Aurora shouted from upstairs.
"Oui chérie?" Mrs. Delacour called back.
"I can't find the shirt I was going to wear!" Aurora sounded kinda annoyed.
"The light blue one with roses?" Mrs. Delacour shouted up to her daughter.
"Yeah!"
"On top of the dryer!" Mrs. Delacour informed her.
They heard some walking.
"You're amazing! Merci, Mama!"
Aurora came bouncing down the stairs a few minutes later, her hair done in two French braids with red ribbons at the end of the braids. She had on her light blue flowy shirt and leggings, with red high tops. She stopped when she noticed Reagan, her cheeks red. "Bonjour, Reagan," Aurora greeted, stopped at the bottom of the stairs.
Reagan chuckled. "Bonjour, Belle." She waved.
Aurora blushed.
Mrs. Delacour smiled. They're so cute.
Aurora turned to her mom. "I'm going to go do Lila's hair and then we'll be leaving," she told her.
Mrs. Delacour nodded. She chuckled when she noticed something in her daughter's hand. "The same way yours is done?" she asked knowingly.
Aurora smiled sheepishly. "It's fun to match," she responded.
Lila was wearing something similar to Aurora, except the shirt was a light purple color - her favorite shirt due to the color being close to her name - and it had Princess Rapunzel on it. That's why Aurora had gotten two lilac-colored ribbons, instead of red ones.
Reagan chuckled.
They followed Aurora to the kitchen.
"Hair time!" The older sister exclaimed.
Lila groaned. "Don't hurt me," she told her sister.
Aurora rolled her eyes. "I don't purposely try to hurt you," she grumbled as she took two elastics off of her wrist.
Reagan placed a hand on Aurora's wrist, looking into her eyes. "That's bad for your wrists, you're cutting off circulation," she warned her.
Aurora shrugged. "But I'm known as the girl who always has an elastic and they know they can count on me, so I can't take them off," she responded. "They depend on me."
Reagan chuckled. She patted her head and then held her hand out. "Give me half," she told her.
Aurora rolled her eyes. She begrudgingly took off five of her elastics and handed them to Reagan.
"And switch half of them to your other wrist," Reagan added.
Aurora rolled her eyes, but did what she said.
"Thank you." Reagan chuckled.
After a few minutes, Aurora finished doing Lila's hair and the two little kids finished eating their strawberries.
They all said goodbye to Mrs. Delacour, before they left.
Lila and Liam skipped ahead as they walked, their arms linked.
Aurora and Reagan were behind them, talking with each other and chuckling as they watched their siblings.
At the Theater
By the time they had gotten to the theater, Liam was on Reagan's back and Lila was on Aurora's back.
When they walked in, Mary and Josh walked up to them, chuckling.
Mary gently took Liam off of Reagan's back and held him in her arms, while Josh took Lila off of Aurora's back.
"Thank you," Aurora whispered to them.
The two chuckled as they walked off, taking the two little ones to a quieter space as they waited for rehearsal to start.
"Hey!" Mateo and Gabriel flipped over to them when they walked in.
Aurora giggled.
Reagan chuckled at her. "Hello," she greeted, "do you need something?"
"We're making a group chat for the cast," Mateo informed them. "Can we have your numbers?" he asked.
Reagan nodded.
Gabriel pulled his phone out and handed it to Reagan.
Reagan typed her number on the notes doc he had open, with her name next to it. She also typed Aurora's name and number.
There were already a good amount of their cast mate's numbers on the notes doc.
"Thanks, girls!" Mateo and Gabriel exclaimed in unison as they flipped off.
Noah appeared next to Aurora. "Weren't they just after each other's heads yesterday?" he asked.
Reagan looked past Aurora and at him. "Yep," she answers. "Isn't it weird? Now they're like- buds."
Noah nodded.
Aurora laughed. "Maybe they just found common ground," she suggested.
"I bet they're smitten for each other," Kyler commented from next to Reagan.
Reagan looked over at him. "When did you get here?" she asked him.
Kyler grinned at her. "Three seconds ago."
Reagan chuckled. "Alright, then."
"You think they're crushing on each other?" Aurora asked, keeping her eyes on the two boys they were talking about.
Kyler nodded. "I know the looks they give each other anywhere," he said.
Aurora nodded. "I can see that."
Reagan chuckled. "I appreciate that we're just standing here talking about this," she commented.
The other three members of the group laughed with her.
