Warnings: mentions of storms, loud noises, slight worry
Third Person POV

Emilio sat in front of the window, sitting crisscross. He stared out the window, silent.

Lightning flashed.

Emilio quickly covered his ears with his hands so he didn't hear the thunder. He squeezed his eyes shut and braced himself for the thunder.

Emilio cringed when he heard the thunder, pressing his hands tightly against his ears. It passed after a moment and his grip relaxed.

Emilio loved watching the rain, and since he couldn't sleep, he decided he'd watch the storm.

That didn't mean he liked thunder any more than he already did.

Emilio watched lightning burst in the sky, lighting up the night. He quickly covered his ears again.

Emilio jumped a bit when he felt someone touch him.

Jesse sat down next to him. He gently pulled Emilio's hands off of his ears and placed headphones on his ears.

Emilio watched him with shocked eyes.

Jesse smiled and handed him his phone, which the headphones were connected to.

Emilio opened the notes app and typed something out. He handed the phone back to Jesse.

Jesse read the message.

Why are you awake?

Jesse chuckled, typing a response and showing Emilio.

The same reason you are.

Emilio nodded. He looked out the window as lightning struck again. He smiled.

Jesse just sat next to him and watched with him.

Emilio took the phone again.

Jesse watched him as he typed out a message and showed it to him.

It's pretty.

Jesse smiled and nodded. He took the phone and wrote another message.

Is it bad that I imagined that in Kara Lindsay's Galinda voice?

Emilio laughed lightly. He took the phone. After a moment, he held it out to Jesse again.

It's Glinda now, Tucker. Get it right.

Jesse chuckled.

My bad, my bad. For Dr. Dillamond.

Emilio giggled lightly, typing out a response.

Poor Dr. Dillamond. Doesn't he die?

Jesse's eyes widened.

No! He doesn't die.

Emilio's eyebrows furrowed.

I remember reading something about him dying though.

Jesse tilted his head. He looked at his brother, silent for a moment, before he typed out a response.

Are you sure the thing you read was about the Broadway musical?

Emilio seemed to realize something.

It may have been about the book or something else.

Jesse chuckled.

That makes sense. He doesn't die in the musical.

Emilio nodded. He looked back out of the window.

After a moment, Jesse heard footsteps. He looked at where they were coming from.
