Third Person POV

Mr. Miller stared at Gabriel, his eyes wide as the video played.

It was a video of Emilio telling Finn about his past.

"My dad passed away when I was six," Emilio had started.

"I thought Mr. Miller was your dad?" Finn asked, looking confused.

Emilio sighed. "He's my foster father - the first good one I've ever had," he informed Finn. "My mother became abusive and hated me for just about everything," he explained.

Finn's eyes widened.

"I was beat almost everyday from ages six to nine," Emilio explained, fidgeting as he picked the skin on his fingers. "Then, she was arrested and put into jail because she killed my grandmother - who had been the last woman I had known who was nice." Emilio frowned, staring at the floor. "I was put into foster homes, and you've heard rumors about those systems," he said quietly. "Mine were mostly mothers who only wanted me so they didn't have to watch their children and they'd beat me if I did something wrong. Don't get me wrong, there were some good homes, but they never lasted."

Finn frowned. "I'm so sorry, Lio," he whispered.

"I met Jesse in a group home that I had lived in for about six months before I was fostered by Mr. Miller," Emilio finished, forcing himself not to cry. "That's why I hesitate calling him "dad"," he explained. "That's why I have trouble talking to girls."

"Because all of the girls in your life have been abusive and horrible to you," Finn finished.

Emilio nodded slowly. "I mean, I know that Aurora and Reagan and Kennedy and Mary and Isabella and maybe Juliet are nice, but I can't help but worry..." he whispered. "My mom was nice before my dad died too..."

Finn hugged him. "Lio, I'm so so sorry," he whispered.

Mr. Miller's head shot up to look at Jesse. "Go," he told him. "Run, get him."

Jesse was quickly reminded that Emilio had run out.

Gabriel's eyes widened.

"Take Finn and Gabriel and go," Mr. Miller told Jesse, hurried.

Jesse quickly ran out of the room, Gabriel on his tail.

They got to the stage in under two minutes where some of the cast members were yelling at Juliet.

"I just thought you should all see it!" Juliet defended herself. "We shouldn't keep secrets from each other."

Gabriel clenched his fists, stopping in his tracks in front of her. "If I smacked girls, you'd be unconscious right now," he threatened.

Juliet blinked. "Did you just... threaten me?" she asked, looking shocked.

"Don't worry, Gabe," Kennedy smacked Juliet across the face, "I'll do it for you."

Gabriel nodded.

Jesse finally found Finn. "Fisher!" he exclaimed. "Come on! We need your help since Emilio trusts you!" he told him.

Finn jumped up and ran towards him.

Gabriel was quickly reminded that he had to find Emilio and that he should probably not be the one to confront Juliet due to his pent up anger, so he followed Finn and Jesse.
