Chapter 96 - Behind the Story Vlog: Sawyer's Takeover

- Chapter 96 - Meet the head of run crew -
Warnings: none really. A bit of sadness and feeling like a jerk and internalized homophobia at the start, but pretty happy otherwise
Third Person POV

Jeremy sat down next to his brother. "What's up?"

Isaac was off. He hadn't been himself all day, and everyone who knew him could tell.

Isaac looked at his brother. "Nothing," he muttered.

Jeremy shot him a look. "Now, I know that's not true," he responded quietly. "Does it have something to do with the fact that Jaden looks exhausted and didn't speak all morning? And that you're not much better?"

"Why don't you go ask him?" Isaac muttered grumpily. "Maybe, he'll actually talk to you."

Jeremy frowned. "Isaac, talk to me."

Isaac sighed. "I was making progress... then he leaned in and- and it kinda just... went from there, and we kissed." He swallowed hard, hiding his face in his hands. "And he ran off. He locked himself in the bathroom. I could hear his crying... God, I feel like such a jerk. He totally felt pressured. I wanted him to feel safe with me," he whispered.

Jeremy frowned. "Oh, Isaac..." He wrapped his arms around his twin and pulled him close. "It'll all be figured out soon, I promise."

Elsewhere

Gabriel stopped in his tracks.

Not looking where he was going, Mateo slammed into him, knocking both of them over.

Gabriel yelped. "Mateo!"

Mateo smiled apologetically, starting to get up. "Sorry." He paused for a moment. "You're cute like this," he commented, sitting on Gabriel's back.

Gabriel's cheeks turned bright red. He shook his head and flipped them, quickly getting up.

Mateo whistled, still laying on the ground. "Wow, that was hot."

Gabriel's cheeks reddened further as he held his camera in his hands.

"Wow, you two are unhinged today," Sawyer commented, his arms crossed.

"It's not me," Gabriel mumbled, embarrassed as he pointed to Mateo.

Mateo grinned. "He's so cute when he blushes!"

Sawyer chuckled. "What are you two doing?"

Gabriel looked at him. "We were gonna go film, but I think Isaac is having a tough day, and this was originally his idea, so I'll save that for another day and just film a random vlog today," he explained.

Sawyer nodded. He looked like he wanted to say something, but hesitated for a moment. "Can I join you two today?" He dug the ball of his foot into the ground.

Mateo and Gabriel exchanged a grin. "Sure!"

"Hey, peeps!" Gabriel waved at the camera. "Welcome back to "Behind the Story"!"

"Dun dun dunnnnn." Mateo did jazz hands.

Gabriel chuckled. "Silly boy." He shook his head. "Today, we're joined by Sawyer, who'll be showing his rehearsal routine."

Sawyer chuckled. "I'm afraid it's not very exciting, but it'll be fun," he said.

Gabriel grinned. "Enjoy!"

"Enjoy!" Mateo and Sawyer chorused.

"Now, for a little montage." Gabriel wiggled his eyebrows, grinning goofily.
