Third Person POV

Juliet pushed open the door to the rehearsal room. "It's good to see me, isn't it?" She grinned.

After being out for three days, she figured maybe she'd get a semi happy response, but she barely got any.

However, Mr. Miller did smile and walk over to her. "Hello, Juliet. How are you feeling?" he asked her. "You came back a few days early."

Juliet nodded, her head held high. "Yep. My mom's essential oils work miracles and I'm never down for long," she responded.

"Good for you," Gabriel grumbled to himself, shrinking down more behind his knees.

Mr. Miller blinked, trying to figure out how essential oils would help sickness. He just shook it off and smiled politely.

Juliet's eyes landed on Jesse. "Jesse! I'm back!" She struck a pose.

"I can see that," Jesse commented, standing next to his father.

Juliet blushed. "Well, did you miss me?" she asked, batting her eyelashes.

Gabriel scoffed to himself. He grabbed his water bottle and got up. "I have to go fill this," he muttered to the people with him.

Mr. Johnson and Mateo watched him leave the room, both of them frowning.

Jesse definitely didn't miss Juliet, but he nodded anyway, deciding to be polite.

Juliet beamed. She threw her arms around him, before almost as quickly pulling away. "I need to go warm up. I'll talk to you later." She winked and walked away.

Jesse blinked, his brain processing what just happened. He shuddered and shook it off. "I really don't like her touching me," he mumbled.

Mr. Miler looked at him and frowned. "Try to stay away or tell her that," he told him.

Jesse shrugged.

Outside of the room

Gabriel breathed in through his nose and out through his mouth, feeling himself calm down.

Well, he did, before-

"Gabriel."

Gabriel tensed immediately. He silently cursed the world, muttering a French swear, before turning around to face the girl behind him.

Juliet stood there, her arms crossed.

"Yes?" Gabriel closed his water bottle.

"Why don't you seem to like me?" Juliet questioned. "I have tried very hard to be sweet and I know that I'm beautiful and talented; everyone likes me," she stated. "Why don't you?" She stepped towards him.

Gabriel took a step backwards. "Juliet, I'm gay," he informed her.

Juliet blinked. She burst into laughter. "That's hilarious." She smirked at him. "No one is "gay", Gabriel. You're just annoyed because no girl has decided to date you yet," she said.

Gabriel scowled. "That's not tru-"

"Don't lie to yourself, Gabriel," Juliet snapped. "If you weren't so rude, I'd date you so you could realize how foolish you sound," she told him. She looked him up and down, smirking. "I'm sure neither of us would mind. I am gorgeous and you are handsome."

Gabriel visually cringed, shivers running down his spine. "Juliet, I am definitely gay. Even if I was straight, I wouldn't want to date you," he told her, backing away again.

Juliet scowled again. "See?" she snarled. "This is why no one wants to date you. No one would ever like you with that attitude," she snapped. "I've tried to be nice and to give you a chance, but you ruined it," she told him. "Good luck finding someone else who'll ever like you. Don't come crawling back to me." She turned on the heel of her foot and walked away.

Gabriel stood there for a moment in shock.

"This is why no one wants to date you."

"No would one ever like you."

Gabriel swallowed hard and tried to remind himself that she was just annoyed. He tried to remind himself that she was wrong.

But if that was true, why had so many people told him the same thing...?

A bit later in the day

After cooling off from her whole debacle with Gabriel, Juliet was going over stuff with Eliasz while Mason talked with Mr. Abbott.

"So, I cover Grayson," Eliasz started.

Juliet nodded, looking down at her notebook. "He plays Albert, Noah plays Henry, Ben pla-"

"Juliet," Eliasz stopped her politely.

Juliet's head snapped up. "What?" she grumbled. "Interrupting people is rude."

Eliasz took a deep breath to calm himself down. "I just wanted to inform you that Grayson uses they/them pronouns and has for a few weeks," he reminded her. "Please respect that."

Juliet tilted her head, confused. "But he's a boy," she responded like it was obvious.

Eliasz exhaled through his nose to try to calm himself down before he got worked up. He hated closed-minded people. "No, Grayson is Non-Binary," he responded.

Juliet's face scrunched up in disgust. "No, that's not a thing," she responded in a snotty, I-know-I'm-right tone. "They/them is plural. It can't be one person."

Eliasz was getting frustrated. "Juliet-"

"God, you're all delusional," Juliet groaned to herself. "Gabriel's saying he's gay, Grayson says he's "non-binary", whatever the heck that is." She rolled her eyes. "All of you need a trip to the real world. God doesn't approve of this."

Eliasz was slightly shocked by her nerve. He gritted his teeth in annoyance. "Juliet, please shut up before I do something I'll regret."

Juliet's head snapped over to him. "You have no right to say anything, Eliasz," she responded, clearly annoyed. "You're deaf. No real, professional theatre is going to hire you if you can't hear them," she snapped.

"I'm hard of hearing, not deaf-" Eliasz tried to respond.

"I don't care what you think you are!" Juliet snapped at him. "Everyone in here needs a wake up call because none of you are making it to professional theatre being this delusional and unprofessional." She got up, grabbed her stuff, and stomped off.

Eliasz sat back, shocked about what just happened. He swallowed hard and frustrated tears brimmed the corners of his eyes.

I hate people like her, Eliasz thought to himself, looking down at his notebook. Tears blurred his vision, so so much...

Okay, so I don't talk about my religion on Wattpad, but please remember that what Juliet says is not what I believe. I support the LGBTQ+ family (I mean, it'd be weird if I wrote them and didn't support), I love and support all of my friends in the community.
My mom taught me one thing above all; "Love thy neighbor." She taught me that that was the most important thing and I stick to that, so remember, I support you and frick Juliet and people like her. I'd love to have a talking-to with them and make them realize how they're using religion wrongly and so on.

Also, sorry that this is such a sad chapter. I had to make the drama start rolling in lol. Don't worry, it's not this sad for long (:
