Third Person POV

"So..."

Gabriel looked up at his brother. "Yes?"

"Now, we can go back." Emilio beamed at Gabriel.

Gabriel's eyebrows furrowed. "Huh?"

Emilio blinked, looking down at his phone for a split second before looking back at Gabriel. "Jesse and Papa actually need our help inside and forgot they would because they thought they got it, but they don't got it, so we need to go back in," he informed his best friend, reciting the lie Jesse texted him.

Gabriel blinked. He sighed softly. "Okay. Let's go."

Emilio beamed and opened the car door. He almost bounced out of the car.

Gabriel was confused as to why he was so excited.

"Come on, slowpoke!" Emilio told him, grinning as he opened the door. He was no longer by the car and was now at the stage door.

Gabriel blinked, but closed the car door and jogged over to Emilio.

They entered the theater and closed the door behind themselves.

Emilio's hands were shaking violently and he looked antsy.

Gabriel's eyebrows furrowed. "Lio, why are you so excited?" he asked him.

Emilio shrugged. He was a horrible liar and didn't trust his voice enough to answer. He was surprised Gabriel believed the first lie.

Gabriel sighed softly, but followed Emilio.

When they got to the door that lead to the stage, Emilio stopped Gabriel. "I need to go in first."

Gabriel tilted his head. "Why?"

"Because." Emilio answered. "I need to. Otherwise it'll feel wrong in my mind, so I need you to wait ten seconds before you come in," he instructed him.

Gabriel sighed softly. "Alright." He knew how Emilio got about some stuff, so it was easier for both of them if he just did the things Emilio asked him to, even if they sounded weird.

Emilio nodded. He quickly opened the door, walked onto the stage, and shut the door behind himself.

Gabriel counted down ten Mississippi seconds, before opening the door and walking onto the stage.

Mateo stood in the center of the stage, holding flowers.

The cast was scattered around the sides of the stage.

Gabriel's eyebrows furrowed. "Teo?"

Mateo took a deep breath. "Hi, Gabe." He didn't really know what to say. "So... uh..." he looked at Jesse.

Jesse shot him a thumbs up and a warm smile.

Mateo took another deep breath and looked back at Gabriel. A soft smile graced his features. "I know we haven't really labeled our relationship, but I know that I... I love you," he admitted.

Gabriel blushed.

"I don't know if you love me too, but it would be a bit weird if you let me kiss you a lot and don't at least like me a bit." Mateo laughed lightly, obviously nervous. "I know that you haven't been wanting to go to your Junior Prom, I know they're not your thing, but you may regret it if you don't go," he told him.
