Third Person POVEmilio was walking through one of the back hallways of the theater, when he heard a shout.
"Move out of the way!"
Emilio was shoved back, stumbling backwards. He tripped and fell over.
Emilio squeezed his eyes shut in fear, but he never hit the ground.
"Hey, hey, I got you," a soothing voice told him, their voice not only soothing, but also soft like they were trying not to scare him.
Emilio was suddenly extremely aware of someone's arms around him. He slowly opened his eyes.
A boy was standing above him. He was the one who had caught him.
The boy had dark skin and almost black hair, though Emilio had done research once and had seen that black hair didn't actually exist and that it was just really, really dark brown hair, though he wasn't fully sure how reliable that source was.
(A/N, please, someone tell me if that's right or not. I've been looking forever ^)
Despite feeling embarrassment flood his body due to falling over, Emilio felt really dazed and suddenly really small. This boy was cute.
Really cute.
Emilio had never felt this before.
Emilio quickly scrambled to get up and pulled away from the boy. "I'm sorry," he squeaked out, his cheeks burning.
The boy chuckled. "No, no, it's okay." He watched Emilio. "Are you okay? We had been moving a heavy seat piece and didn't want you to get hurt," he explained sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. "We probably should've warned you better."
Emilio shook his head. "I'm fine," he whispers. He hadn't meant for his voice to be that quiet.
The boy watched him, his gaze a little concerned. "You sure?"
Emilio quickly nodded. "I better go," he mumbled, pointing to the door.
The boy watched as he quickly left and went to the stage area.
"Well, that was weird," the techie behind him commented, leaning against the set piece they had just been moving.
The boy next to him nodded in agreement.
The dark-haired boy looked at them. "Do you know who that was?" he asked, slightly curious.
The first techie shrugged.
The boy next to him nodded. "I don't know his name, but that's one of Mr. Miller's sons," he informed them. "The younger one, I think he plays Racetrack."
The other two boys nodded.
"Well, we better continue getting this to where it needs to be," the second boy commented, standing up straight again. "I want to go lay down."
The dark-haired boy laughed as he walked over to him, shaking his head. "You lazy Ace."
The second boy smacked him. "I'm not lazy! I'm just tired!" he defended himself.
The third boy groaned. "You're always tired, and all you do is sleep," he responded, starting to pick up the set piece.
The second boy rolled his eyes.
