- Chapter 61 - With Gabriel and Mateo (and Emilio) -
Warnings: the scene with Pulitzer, but other than that, it's really fluffy
Third Person POVJesse glared at the man (boy, technically) who stood in front of him. "There ain't a person in this room who don't know you stink," he sneered, backing up.
Aiden, who stood behind him, pushed him back towards them.
Andrew smirked, looking at his nails. "And if they know me, they know I don't care," he responded. "Mark my words, boy."
There were some stifled laughs because Andrew was younger than Jesse.
"Defy me, and I will have you and every one of your friends locked up in the Refuge," Andrew threatened, looking up at Jesse.
Mr. Strouse's smirk only grew.
Jesse almost gasped audibly at the threat, before his eyes narrowed at Andrew.
"Now," Andrew started again, looking down at a paper he had on the desk, "I know that you are Mr. Touch Guy." He smirked a bit. "But it's not right to condemn that crippled boy to conditions like that." His voice was full of fake sympathy as he held up a picture of Kennedy (as Crutchie, in the refuge).
Jesse clenched his fists.
"Oh dang," someone mumbled behind the camera that was recording them, "it's impressive that we have a picture for this scene."
"And what about your pal- uh- Davey!- and his little brother," Andrew pretended to pick up another paper on the table. "Ripped," he smirked as he ripped the paper down the center, "from their loving family." He tsked and shook his head. "Would they ever be able to thank you enough?"
Jesse gritted his teeth.
"What'cha doing?" Someone asked from behind the camera.
"Filming a bit," Gabriel whispered back, keeping his camera pointed at the stage.
"Did you get permission?" Mateo asked, plopping done next to him.
"Yep, cause Drew doesn't actually play Pulitzer," Gabriel reminded Mateo. "They're doing this scene with him as Pulitzer for fun."
Mateo nodded.
Andrew: Time's running out, kid
So what do you say?
Cowboy or convict
I win either wayYour abject surrender
Was always the bottom line"Gentlemen," Andrew turned to face Aiden and Caden, "escort our guest to the cellar so he might reflect in solitude."
Aiden and Caden nodded, grabbing Jesse's arms and leading him away.
Andrew: Too bad you've no job, Jack
But you did resign
Too bad you've no family
But you can't have mineBe glad you're alive, boy
I'd say that's the bottom lineMr. Holland: Like the Pied Piper you knew what to play

FanfictionDeclan laughed out loud, looking over from where he sat lazily in a chair. "Andrew can't sing, but he's an amazing actor, that's why he got Teddy Roosevelt and Nunzio," he commented. "And cause they were down an oldsie," Jesse muttered as he watched...
