The twelfth supernova: Leah

Chapter 7

The morning after Battle Royals destruction Leah, Atlanta, and William were at a table at the bar eating breakfast like it was their last meal they would ever eat. Genoa was bringing them plate after plate of and taking beli's from a bag of money that they took from the establishment that was once known as Battle Royal. Moergan was in the kitchen cooking away with a smile on his face.

"After tearing a building down this is definitely something we need." Leah said putting a bite full of egg in her mouth.

"You used the giant shotguns." Atlanta pointed out. "I used my hammer to tear it down."

"Work smarter not harder." William said in response.

Genoa was smiling at them before heading back to the kitchen to grab more food for them. Shentered the kitchen and grabbed some more plates of food for the pirates. She then placed them on the table.

"Hey William, now that the fat cowboy is no longer a threat to you can you join us as a navigator?" Leah asked bluntly.

William sighed. "I'm sorry but you know I can't."

Once Genoa was back in the kitchen, William gave the two a look of determination on his face. "I'm not leaving on an adventure yet, my sister needs me here I have waited years and I can wait even more to go on my adventure." He said.

William looked down with a withdrawn look. Atlanta and Leah looked at each other. Leah was about to speak, but Atlanta shook her head in a message saying 'don't.' The three continued eating in silence.

After the three were done eating, they were just relaxing leaning back on their chairs. "Ah, that was delicious." Leah complimented raising her fist up tiredly.

"You said it." Atlanta agreed also raiding her fist tiredly.

The three were still laying back on their chairs relaxing when Genoa and Moergan approached them. "I'm glad to see that you enjoy my cooking so much."

Genoa put a cup of tea in front of each of the pirates. The three each slowly drank their tea. Atlanta then thought of something. "So, what happens now that the fight club is shut down?"

"I imagine the king will be sending his troops to keep the peace and there might possibly be investment in the port." Moergan answered. "Wallace's body has been found beaten and stabbed to death this morning."

The three looked at the bar owner in shock. "I know a squad of our kingdom's soldiers is already investigating."

"Crap the ship was destroyed so we can't get away." Leah said in a sudden panic.

Moergan smiled. "Don't worry once you are done with your tea follow me."

The three looked at each other before shrugging. The three drank their tea then got up and faced the old barman. He looked at the three before smiling slightly.

"Ready?"

"I guess, can you tell us what the surprise is?" Leah asked.

"Just wait and see that is what a surprise is." He told them.

The three followed that Moergan to a warehouse connect to the ocean. They enter the building and see a cog anchored. The ships railing was painted red and the bow was that of a snake. Leah looked at the ship and smiled widely.

"Now this is a ship!" She shouted excitedly.

Moergan laughed at her excitement. "Glad you like it, it won't survive the Grand Line but it will serve you well." He explained.

"Why did you keep a ship like this?" Atlanta asked.

"It was a last resort just incase Wallace decided to back stab me."

"Ah!"

"Now with Wallace no longer being an issue I can give you three this ship."

"Right." William agreed before realizing what his boss said. "What do you mean three?"

"Brother I got everything you need packed for you." Genoa said carrying and dragging bags filled with William's clothes and other items.

"Genoa what are you doing?"

"I packed so that you can go on your adventure." She answered like it was obvious.

"Listen I can't go on an adventure now." He told them.

"Why not?" Moergan asked. "If it's Genoa you're worried about I can look after her, as her godfather your father entrusted me to look after both of you."

"And we will see each other again somewhere out there." Genoa promised her brother.

William stared at them with tears started to form in her eyes. Moergan walked up to him and puts a hand on his shoulder. "You can leave later but you only get one shot to go on an adventure with people who will enter hell with you like those two."

Will turned to see Leah stick her tongue out at Atlanta. He looked unsure but his focus back to his godfather when he started laughing. He looked at him with a questioning look.

"I had the opportunity to join a pirate crew and she reminds me of the captain who offered me a position as a cook on his ship."

William looked at the two pirates. He just stared at them until he was pushed forward. He looked back and saw that his little sister was the one that pushed him.

"Go." She told him.

William then cried and knelt down and hugged for the last time before sailing with the ne crew.

At the Reverse Mountain base, Buitre lands on the wall that surrounds the base. He saw a pirate ship with the pirates, freely mingling with each other. He then saw three pirates and a vice-admiral walk towards the ship. He observed the pirates were dressed in the finest suites. He saw that the shortest pirate was the captain. The captain had a five a clock shadow, a bit of a stomach, and jelled back hair.

"Captain Bege I thank you for paying the toll you are free to pass." The vice-admiral told the pirate captain.

"Thank you, vice-admiral Arnold I hope for your continued success."

The captain and his guards went back to his ship. The pirated ship then exited the base. Arnold looked up and saw Buitre on the wall of the base.

"You can fly down now." He yelled up to him.

Buitre flew down and transformed to his human form. "Wallace's organization is out of commission."

"How?" Arnold asked curiously.

"Three rookie pirates that don't even have bounties yet."

"Anything about them that I should take note of?"

"Yes the captain has bright red hair."
