Luffy was in shock. Seeing his brother with a fist through his chest. Ace doing his best from screaming out in pain. "Run... Luffy." He gasped.

Akainu pulled his fist out allowing Ace to hit the ground. Luffy crawled towards his brother before shaking him. "Ace?"

But Ace did not move. With his eyes closed and a smile on his face, he looked to be in peace. Luffy kept shaking his brother, still in denial of his death until the realization finally hit him like a brick.

"Ace!" He screamed not noticing the admiral was about to punch him with another lava punch.

He almost landed the punch only for Jembei to intercept it, but not without the lava to injure Luffy severely. Jimbei was doing his best to hold Akainu back but was struggling. It only ended when a sudden force sent the admiral flying sideways.

Jimbei turned towards the source of the force to see Ivankov. "Quick get Straw-boy out of here." They shouted at the fishman.

Acting quickly the former warlord picked Luffy up and jumped to make his escape.

On the Green Dragon, Leah watched helplessly as Ace was killed and Luffy getting mortally injured. She had ordered Li to get the ship out of her Todo and Atlanta were being treated by Hon. She felt useless as her ship was making its way from the docks and into the bay.

'Please live Luffy, please live.' She prayed.

She then felt the heat of the sun vanish from her skin. Looking up she saw a giant the size of a mountain peaking behind the building.

'What now?' She thought in panic.

"Ze ha ha ha." The loud laugh sounded throughout the battlefield.

The fighting stopped as everyone looked towards the building to see nine different pirates staring down the battlefield.

'What now?' Leah thought with dread not knowing that Whitebeard has put his attention towards the new pirates.

"Teach." He growled.
