Y/N's POV

So, right now I'm in a store because Holland and I are hungry and we have no money, Holland is waiting outside and I'm just walking around casually and I stick a few candy bars in my hoodie pocket.

I look up and see the cashier is talking to someone which gives me an opportunity to stick a couple bottle of waters in my shirt.

I then casually start walking to the exit.

My heart is pumping like it usually does when I'm stealing but I don't make it obvious.

I get to the door and I put my hand on the handle.

???: Excuse me.

I then hear the cashier and I turn around.

Y/N: Yes.

???: Can I help you?

Y/N: Oh uh my mom is the restroom, so I'm just gonna go wait in the car.

He starts walking towards me.

Cashier: Uh-huh.

He then looks down at my hoodie pockets.

Cashier: What's in your pockets, son?

Y/N: Uh...

Cashier: Alright I'm calling the cops.

I then book it out the door and start running down the street.

I hear the cashier yelling for me to stop but I just keep running until I turn the alley and bump into Holland.

Holland: Jeez. Y/N, slow down.

Y/N: Speak for yourself. I almost got caught.

Holland chuckles at this.

Holland: So, what'd you get us?

I take the candy bars and water bottles from my hoodie and set them on the ground.

Holland and I then sit down on the ground.

Holland: You did good today.

Y/N: Yeah, my heart still is pumping.

Holland laughs at this.

Holland: Y/N, I know this isn't ideal.

Y/N: Ideal would be the perfect family. A mom, a dad, two sisters but I guess that just isn't in the cards for people like us.

Holland: I get that.

Then the wind blows and a newspaper blows in my face.

Holland laughs.

I grab the newspaper and see it says that Oscorp is going public.

Y/N: Ya see, this is what I mean.

I show Holland the newspaper.

Y/N: People think just because they own some big fancy company that they are better than us.

Holland: We'll, aren't they?

Y/N: No they aren't.

Holland: Okay. Okay, your right.

Y/N: We are in our own distant club.

Holland: It's getting late. Gabe has a place set up for us to sleep tonight.

Y/N: Let's go then.

Holland and I stand up and start walking down the alley.

Holland: How do you think life would be if your family never died in that fire?
