Chapter 28: Jasper Sitwell

Y/N's POV

We now have Jasper Sitwell in our possession after Sam baited him into running into Steve, Nat and I.

After we get ahold of him we go up to the rooftop of a building and Steve throws him through the door.

Steve: What's Zola's algorithm?

Jasper: Never heard of it.

Steve: What were you doing on the Lumarian Star?

Jasper: Mainly throwing up, I get sea sick.

Then Steve holds him over the roof slightly.

Jasper: Is this little act meant to insinuate that your gonna throw me off the roof? Because that's not really your style, Captain?

He looks at me.

Jasper: It's not yours either Spider-Man. That's right, we know all about you.

Y/N: Your right, it's not our style. It's hers.

Then we move out of the way and Natasha kicks Jasper and he falls off the roof and he screams as he goes down.

I then think back to when Natasha was playing matchmaker with Steve.

Y/N: Hey, what about that girl from accounting?

Steve: Seriously, you too?

I chuckle at this.

Natasha: What's her name? Laura?

Steve: Lillian. Lip piercing, I think.

Y/N: She's cute, Steve.

Steve: Yeah. I'm not ready for that.

We then hear Sitwell screaming as he comes flying back up to the roof because Sam had ahold of him because we had gotten the wings for him.

We then walk over to Jasper, who was now on the ground.

Jasper: Zola's algorithm is a program for choosing all of insights targets.

Steve: What targets?

Jasper: You, Spider-Man, A tv anchor in Cairo, the under secretary of defense, a high school valedictorian in Iowa city, Bruce Banner, Stephan Strange, anyone who is a threat to HYDRA. Now or in the future.

Y/N: In the future? How could it know?

Jasper laughs and then stands up.

Jasper: How could it not? The 21st century is a digital book. Zola taught HYDRA how to read it. Your bank records, your medical history, voting patterns, emails, phone calls and your damn SAT scores. Zolas algorithm evaluates peoples past to predict their futures.

Steve: What then?

Jasper looks at the ground.

Jasper: oh my god. Pierce is gonna kill me.

Y/N: What then?

Jasper: Then the insight helicarriers scratch people of the list. A few million at a time.

Steve then goes a head to make a plan.

Steve, Nat and Sam go look for a car while I keep an eye on Jasper in the alley.

(Ten minutes later)

I'm now in the alleyway with Jasper, and we are waiting for Steve, Nat and Sam.

I stand a few feet away from Jasper with arms crossed and I realize this is my opportunity to find out who the huntress is.

Y/N: Who's the huntress?

Jasper: I don't know.

I go over to him and push him against the wall.

Y/N: Who is she?

Jasper: I swear I don't know.

I then grab his arm and twist it.

Y/N: Tell me.

Jasper: Okay, okay. I don't know who she is. The Huntress' identity changes every few years. It could be anyone.

Y/N: Your lying!

Jasper: I'm telling you the truth. The flash drive, though.

Y/N: What?

Jasper: The flash drive. It has everything about the huntress on it.

Y/N: Will it have her current identity?

Jasper: It should.

I twist his arm more.

Jasper: Yes! Yes! It will.

Then I hear a car pulling up.

Steve: Y/N, come on.

I then grab him and put him in the car.

Then I get in the car and we drive away.
