Chapter 73: The Battle For Wakanda

Y/N's POV

We're now heading towards the battle field.

Nat looks back and she gets on comms with Bruce who is in the hulk buster armor.

Natasha: Alright, Bruce, how we doing?

Bruce: Yeah I'm getting the hang of this. Whoa! This is amazing Nat, it's like being the hulk but...

Bruce then tripped and fell over.

Bruce then gets up.

Bruce: I'm okay. I'm all right.

Rhodey and Sam then fly past Bruce.

Then after walking down some more, we then see the alien that attacked myself, Vision and Wanda.

Then a bigger alien appears behind her.

Nat, Steve, T'challa and myself walk towards them.

Natasha: Where's your other friend?

Female alien: You will pay for his life with yours. Thanos will have that stone.

Y/N: That's not gonna happen.

T'challa: You are in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood.

Female alien: We have blood to spare.

She raises her hand up in the air and then the drop ship doors start opening up.

We then each go back to where we were standing originally and stand with the others.

Matt: I'm gonna take a guess and say they didn't surrender.

Y/N: Not exactly.

T'challa: Yibambe!!!!

Wakandian's: Yibambe!!!!

T'challa and his people chant.

We then see space dogs trying to break down the barrier that was keeping them outside.

They were dying as they smashed into it.

Bucky: What the hell?

Y/N: What are they doing?

Natasha: Looks like we pissed her off.

Okoye: They're killing themselves.

As some begin to break through the barrier, Bucky and Frank begin shooting at them while the Wakandian's do to.

Then Holland uses her crossbow.

Sam and Rhodey start taking them down from the sky.

Sam: You see the teeth in those things?

Rhodey: Alright back up Sam, you're gonna get your wings singed.

We then see that some of the space dogs were getting through the barrier.

Bruce: Cap, Spidey, if those things circle the perimeter and get in behind us there's nothing between them and vision.

Steve: Then we better keep them in front of us.

Okoye: How do we do that?

T'challa: We open the barrier.

T'challa touches his comms.

T'challa: On my signal, open north west section seventeen.

M'Baku: This will be the end of Wakanda.

Okoye: Then it will be the noblest ending in history.

T'challa: WAKANDA FOREVER!!!!

Then we charge as the barrier opens and the space dogs start piling out.

Steve, T'challa and I lead the charge and once we got closer we all start fighting  the aliens.

Third Person Perspective

It was one of the greatest battles that would probably ever occur and the battle was just getting started.

The Avengers and Wakadians flew into battle knowing what's at risk.

Holland uses her fighting skills to take down some of the space dogs.

Y/N uses his web shooters, his invisibility and venom blast to take down the aliens.

T'challa was using his suit to its advantages taking down the alien space dogs.

Bucky and Frank were standing back to back firing their guns.

Pietro is running along the field taking down anything that comes in his path.

Steve and Natasha were using their hand to hand combat to take down the space dogs.

Y/N's POV

We were all starting to lose, the battle started to take its toll on all of us. T'challa and I were fighting back to back.

Just when I think the fight was not on our side, I look up and see a wave of colors crash into the ground.

When the colors disappear I see Thor with a raccoon and a tree.

Thor: BRING ME THANOS!!!!

The raccoon, the tree and Thor all charge and start taking the aliens down which gives the rest of us time to cool down for a minute.

(A few minutes later)

After fighting for a few minutes I reunite with Thor.

Y/N: New haircut?

Thor: I noticed you've started copying my beard and you've also given your hair a new color.

I nod as he was referring to the slight beard I was growing.

Y/N: Trying something new.

Thor: Oh, this is a friend of mine. He's a tree.

Steve and I look at the tree.

Groot: I am groot.

Steve: I am Steve Rogers.

After a few minutes of fighting...Sam comes over the comms.

Sam: Hey guys, we've got a vision problem.

Steve: Someone get to Vision.

Bruce & Holland: I'm on it.

Y/N: Me too.

Wanda: On my way.

I start running and taking down every space dog I see as I run to Visions location.

(A few minutes later)

I'm running towards Visions location, Bruce comes over the comms.

Bruce: Guys, Vision needs back up now.

Y/N: I'm on it.

I continue running and I see the alien that attacked us in Scotland and she stabs Vision.

I run over and tackle him to the ground.

Y/N: Vis! Get outta here!

The male alien and I start fighting him but he grabs me by the throat and he starts choking me until he is stabbed in the back.

I see Vision standing over me.

Y/N: I thought I told you to go.

Vision: I told Captain America we don't trade lives.

I smile at this.

Then I turn as I see that the avengers, T'challa, Matt, Frank, Bucky and Okoye show up.
