Chapter 40: Taking On Electro

(Two Days Later)

Y/N's POV

So, it's been two days since The Huntress returned. There's been no sign of her since.

I still haven't talked to Tony after he told me I was done but I do know that he was just being protective of me but I have to be the one to find and stop the Huntress.

I'm also now using the suit Peter gave me because Tony took the one he made me.

Well, anyways right now I'm web swinging around the city hoping to find at least a clue of the huntress' presence.

As I'm web swinging my spider sense goes off and then suddenly the whole city goes dark and because I couldn't see I fall to the ground.

I stand up and realize that the blackout goes throughout the whole city.

Y/N: What could be big enough to cause this?

I then remember Max and his powers.

Y/N: Oh no Max, what have you done? But where?

I think about where he could be doing the black out and I remember the big power plant.

Then when it turns to light again, I start web swinging towards the power plant.

(Ten minutes later)

I'm now at the power plant and I see Electro charging himself with the big pillars.

Max: Your too late, Spider-Man. I designed this power grid. Now I'm gonna take over this city. I will control this city and I will be like a god to them.

Y/N: A god named sparkles.

He then tries to blast me but I twirl in the air and dive down to a water mane and I break it and it sends water flying at Max.

Max: Not this time.

He uses his energy and sends the water flying back at me and which almost knocks me down but I'm able to shoot out a web and swing back to Max and kick him in the face but he hits me and I web his leg but he blasts me again.

I then web a fire hydrant and throw it at him then I shoot out two webs that attach to the pillars and I go flying at Max and kick him down.

(Five Minutes later)

So, Max and I have been fighting for about five minutes and he starts to get the upper hand when he blasts me to the ground.

Y/N: Ow.

Max: Poor Y/N.

My eyes widen when he says my name.

Y/N: He knows who I am.

Max: I thought you were amazing but I realize now that your just like everyone else.

Y/N: A man with tights?

Max: You mock me!

Then I jump in the air and kick him down but his energy blasts back at me and I jump in the air and stick to one of the pillars.

Y/N: He likes energy. So I'm gonna give it to him.

He tries to blast me but I jump from pillar to pillar then I see the building of the power plant and I go to jump in the window but he blasts me but I web the building and dive into the building.

Y/N: Okay. This shouldn't be too hard.

Max: Hey! We're not done yet!

Y/N: Oh no sparkles I'm so scared.

Then I go to the controls and start looking at them.

Y/N: Okay. Shouldn't be too hard.

Then I wait as Max starts coming at me and then his energy goes throughout all the pillars and I turn it on.

Max: What's...what's happening?

I jump out of the building and stick to the side of it.

Y/N: I'm giving you a rush. Too much energy is a bad thing Max.

Then suddenly the pillars explode and I cover my face and when I look I see that Max was gone.

I then drop to the ground.

Y/N: I'm sorry Max.

Then my spider sense goes off and I turn around and I'm knocked to the ground.

I look up and see the huntress.

Y/N: I should've known it was you who did this.

The Huntress: You just don't give up, do you?

Y/N: Never been known to give up.

The Huntress: We'll fix that. Now won't we?

I rush at the huntress and we start fighting.

She kicks me in the gut and I fall to my knees then she grabs me and throws into one of the broken pillars.

The Huntress: So much darkness inside of you.

Y/N: No.

I then rush at her again and start punching her but she just starts laughing.

The Huntress: That's it, dark spider.

Y/N: No!!!

Then I shoot out webs and I web zip at her and kick her down.

Then I spin in the air and deliver one last kick and she falls down.

Then I lift her body up.

Y/N: Who are you?

Then I grab her mask and take it off and my eyes widen when I see that it's Holland.

I stumble backwards and drop the mask.

I then drop to my knees as I realize my best friend who I called my sister was the huntress.

I then look up at her and she punches me and I black out.
