Chapter 37: The Lizard's Cure

(Two Days Later)

Y/N's POV

So, it's been two days and I've been looking for the lizard but I haven't had any luck.

Tony also finished the cure that will turn Dr. Connors back to normal.

Right now I'm web swinging around to see if I can find him.

Then Alex comes over the comms.

Alex: Anything on your end?

Y/N: Nothing. But I'm gonna keep looking.

Alex: I'll keep looking from this side.

I then hear an alarm go off and so I drop down and see two criminals robbing a grocery store.

Criminal: Put the money in the bag. Now!

I go and stand by the door.

I then cough which gets their attention.

Criminal #1: Spider-Man!

Y/N: Hey fellas. I recommend the pizza. It's very good.

Criminal #2: Your dead web head.

They start shouting at me but I web their guns and pull them out of their hands.

I then pull one of them towards me and punch him which knocks him out.

Y/N: Two...

Then I pull the other one towards me and do the same thing.

Then I go outside and Alex comes over the comms.

Alex: Dude lizard sighting in the park.

Y/N: On my way.

(Ten minutes later)

I'm now in the park and I'm looking around and I hear screaming.

Then I web swing towards the screaming and I see the lizard and so I go towards him and kick him down.

Y/N: Doctor Connors stop. Let me help you.

Lizard: No one can help me, Spider-Man.

Y/N: Yes I can.

Lizard: No!

Then the lizard throws a car towards a man and so I web swing towards him and grab him and pull him to safety.

Y/N: You all right?

???: Yeah, thank you. Spider-Man.

Then I web his binder and pull it towards him.

Y/N: This looks pretty important Max.

Max: How do you know my name?

Y/N: It's written on the binder. Hey, be careful. Alright. Your my eyes and ears. I need you Max.

Max: Yes, yeah...

I nod and then I go back to the lizard.

The lizard then rushes at me and I go to slide under his legs but he grabs me and throws me against a taxi.

Y/N: Ow...

Then the lizard grabs me and drags me and then throws me down the street.

Lizard: You should learn not to get into other peoples business, Spider-Man.

Then I roll on the ground and start webbing him but he just rips through my webs.

Y/N: I gotta get him towards the Avengers tower.
