Chapter 8: Moving Day

(The next day)

Y/N's POV

So, it's the next day and I was sad because today Holland is going to live in Chicago with her aunt.

After eating some breakfast and getting ready I go out my window and start web swinging to Peters because that's where Holland was as she is saying goodbye to Peter and MJ.

After a few minutes of web swinging I finally arrive at the apartment but I don't go in and I just jump onto the rooftop opposite of Peters apartment.

As I'm sitting there, I see inside the window, Holland talking to MJ.

Then Peter lands beside me.

Peter: Don't wanna say goodbye.

Y/N: I don't know how.

Peter: Y/N, I know it's hard.

Y/N: She's my best friend. She's the only family I've got and now she's just leaving. She's leaving me behind.

Peter puts his hand on my shoulder.

Peter: She's not leaving you behind, Y/N. She's just going to stay with her aunt.

Y/N: What if she forgets about me?

Peter chuckles and I look at him.

Peter: I can tell you right now, she's not gonna forget you. Now, don't you think you should go say goodbye to your best friend.

I look at Holland and I realize Peter was right.

Hollands POV

As I'm saying goodbye to MJ, i was sad because Y/N wouldn't say goodbye. He told me that everyone leaves him at some point and that made me very sad.

I didn't wanna leave without saying goodbye to the one person who's always been there for me.

My thoughts were interrupted by MJ's voice.

MJ: Holland.

I look up at her.

MJ: You cab is here.

Then the door opens and I go over hoping it's Y/N but it was just Peter.

Holland: Y/N.

Peter: I'm sorry Holland.

Holland: Well, I guess this is it.

Peter: Come on.

Then Peter picks up my bags and walks out of the apartment.

I sigh and then I grab my phone and follow him.

Y/N's POV

I'm now in my normal clothes after I realized Peter was right, I couldn't let Holland leave without saying goodbye to her.

I see that Peter is putting Hollands bags in the cab and I also see that Holland is about to get in the cab.

Y/N: Holland.

She looks at me.

I stop running.

Then she runs over to me and I hug her.

Holland: I was afraid I'd leave without you saying goodbye.

Y/N: I was afraid you'd leave and forget about me.

Holland: I'm never gonna forget about you Y/N.

Y/N: Call me everyday.

Holland: And you better send postcards about your activities as a superhero.

Y/N: I will.

Holland: Goodbye, Y/N.

Y/N: Bye, Holland.

MJ: Holland it's time to go.

Then Holland walks over and gets in the cab.

I then walk over as the cab drives away.

I then take off running down an alley and because my suit was under my clothes I take off my shirt and put my mask on.

Then I start climbing the wall and when I reach the rooftop I start running as I keep my eye on the cab.

I jump high and land on another roof and then I jump from the building and start web swinging and when I reach the cab I shoot a web through the window and pull Holland out to me and I catch her.

She gasps.

Holland: Y/N, what are you doing?

Y/N: Hang on.

Then I just web swing with her in my arms as she holds on tightly.

Then after a few minutes I land on the ground where the cab had stopped at.

Holland: That was very fun, Spider-Man.

Y/N: Anytime Ms.

Holland: I really should get going.

Y/N: Of course.

Then Holland gets into the cab and the cab drives away.

Then I jump in the air and shoot out a web and start web swinging.

Y/N: Whoo!!!!
