Chapter 15: Rules

(Two Weeks Later)

So, it's been about two weeks since I gave up trying to be Spider-Man and I gotta say things have been all right.

Alex and I have become best friends I think but of course, Holland will always be number one, I even have been staying with him and his foster parents which has been cool.

I haven't talked to any of the avengers since they found out about me, I guess all it took was realizing I could never be Peter Parker, let alone Spider-Man.

Well, anyways right now, I am at the library as I'm catching up on some homework as I've recently started school again.

As I'm writing, Someone sets a newspaper on my stuff and I look up and see Alex.

Y/N: What's this?

Alex: Did you hear about the green goblin?

Y/N: What do you mean?

Alex: Read it.

I do as Alex says and I read the newspaper and it says that the green goblin a.k.a Norman Osborn killed officers and escaped.

Y/N: Oh my god.

Alex: Yeah man, it's crazy. It's too bad that other Spider-Man hasn't been seen, I'm sure he could take him.

Y/N: Yeah...yeah he could.

I cough and look at Alex.

Y/N: I mean that is if he was somewhere...or like anywhere...not just hid..ing.

Alex: Right. Well hey, I've been at the library too long. I'll see ya.

Alex stands up and starts to walk away.

Y/N: Yeah, see ya.

As I watch him walk away, I realize Alex is right. The other Spider-Man could take green goblin. I can take green goblin. So that's what I'm gonna do.

I stand up and then run out of the library because I know exactly what im gonna do.

Y/N: Im gonna steal back the suit and take care of green goblin.

I then start making my way towards the avengers tower.

(Twenty minutes later)

So, I'm now at the avengers tower and when I get there I climb inside of peters office.

I then slowly walk out of the office and luckily I don't see anyone so I walk around and look for the suit.

As I'm walking, I walk past a door and I look through the glass and I see the suit on the table and so I go over and open the door and I start to walk in.

As I walk in, I start getting a tingling sound and suddenly an alarm starts blaring and lasers start shooting me.

I move out of the way from all of them and then I jump to the ceiling and then I'm grabbed by what looks like a bog claw and then I'm hung upside down.

I then hear clapping and I look over and see Tony.

Tony: I'm impressed. My scans didn't detect you at all until you came here.

Y/N: Hi...

Tony: Let me guess. Your here to steal the suit?

Y/N: Yep.

Tony: And you thought you'd break into a billion dollar building to do it?

Y/N: Uh...maybe.

Tony then sighs and he presses a button which un hooks the claw and I drop to the floor.

Tony then looks at me.

Tony: Your not gonna give this Spider-Man thing up, are you?

Y/N: Not a chance.

Tony: Fine then. Follow me.

Tony then walks out of the room.

Y/N: Um...okay.

I then stand up and I go follow him.

(Five minutes later)

Tony and I are now down in the basement and he stops and turns around to me and he crosses his arms.

Y/N: Your not gonna lock me up, are you?

Tony: I'm tempted. But...I realized that maybe you can do some good as Spider-Man.

Y/N: Yes!

Tony: But there are rules.

Y/N: Yeah, of course.

Tony: One, you don't keep the suit, it's not yours, it's mine. When I say it's time to take it off, you take it off.

Y/N: Deal.

Tony: Two, you will stay here. You will have your own room, a curfew, and you won't watch the flat screen tv. Because frankly I still don't trust you.

Y/N: Okay.

Tony: And number three, if you destroy the suit, you won't get another one.

Y/N: Deal....Deal.

Tony: Great. Now stand back.

Y/N: The suits on the table.

Tony: That's not yours. This is...

Then Tony stands next to me and he presses a button on his watch and then music starts playing.

Y/N: Uh...what are we waiting for?

Tony: That...

Then the table starts rising but then it wasn't a table, it was a new suit.

(In case anyone forgot what the suit looks like.)

Y/N: This...This is mine.

Tony: Well mine, but yes. I made it the second you left.

Y/N: You knew I'd come back?

Tony: I don't like the idea of another Spider-Man but this way I can keep an eye on you at all times.

Y/N: Do I get a smartphone? Specifically an iPhone?

Tony then starts laughing.

Tony: Oh, you're serious. No, no. Maybe for Christmas, I'll buy you a flip phone.

Y/N: Oh. Well I do like the blue and gold.

Tony: Good. Now, try not to hurt yourself, spider-boy.

Y/N: I don't like that.

Tony: Me neither. We'll figure it out.

Then Tony walks away leaving me to take in how cool of a suit he made.

I then change into my suit and I then go search the city for green goblin because the sooner I find him and stop him, then that will be better.
