My bones ached, my muscles felt practically invisible, I was limb from there on, as I felt someone kiss my cheek. I opened my eyes to his radiant smile, and I looked out the window at a very familiar view. I was finally home, I had missed Ally, like never before, maybe because we had never been separated over the years we had known each other.

"Are you sure you can't come tonight?" He asked, pleading with me, showcasing his one of a kind eyes, those eyes were filled with charm, they really could make a girl do anything.

"I don't want to take Ray out, he's so tired. You'll have a good time tonight, you'll be so tired you won't even notice I'm not there", I told him and he leaned his head back as if I had said something wrong. I knew he wanted me to come, but I just wanted to sulk in my own space, my own home, if he wanted to see me so much he should just come to my place.

"Cara, I always notice when you're not with me", his charm spoke for him as his hands danced along my chin. He pulled me in closer, slowly kissing me from across the seat.

We heard a slow startle from the back and we both disconnected our lips from each other, and looked at the back, at the now awake, and stirring little boy. He was slowly becoming more aware of his surroundings, more so his position in the back seat rather than his warm, comforting bed.

In the early morning, we had left to get breakfast with Mariam and Len, before heading back. Now around three o'clock was when the trip lag was hitting, if there was any. I was even getting tired. I had slept for most of the drive home, as Luca drove , and weirdly enough I think he was just used to this, never having a break. It was hard work being him.

"I want to sleep in my bed", he grumbled, grumpy Ray was not a good look. He could get very grumpy, when too many things were going on. He became overwhelmed, not grumpy, just tired with everything around him. He needed breaks, and quiet time especially otherwise it became too much for him.

Luca understood the message, as he went to gather our bags from the back. Ray darted out of the car and ran up the stairs.

Ray had already ran inside by the time Luca and I had reached our floor with the bags in hand. I dropped mine on the floor, as it was too heavy to carry them, as we said bye, but he found it comfortable to just hold them, guess he was used to it.

He set them down, as he watched me do it after a while, I wasn't sure if he was just now catching on or his arm was straining.

As soon as he set the bags down, he wanted to bring them in himself, but I insisted that I could take them in. I strongly put my foot down for this, I couldn't stand the idea that he would be coming inside, especially when I had left the place a little messier than normal, I was in a major rush to get to the airport on time. I was in a major rush to see him too.

He came closer to me, wrapping his arms around my small self, I loved how warm he made me. He clung onto me, holding me as if he never wanted to let go. I never wanted to let go of him.

He kissed me lightly, whispering sweet sayings in my ear and then he retrieved down the steps, waving off to me from afar. I would miss him. He disappeared into his car as Ally pulled me into a hug.

"Tell me everything, I missed you", she finally let go of me as she helped me inside, carrying the bags.

I could tell she had cleaned up the place, the stray clothes I had left scattered were now on the shelf and Ray's toys that we didn't take are now in the basket.

I thanked her for cleaning up, as she took a seat on the couch, wanting details, wanting information about every single thing that happened this weekend. I didn't even know where to start at this point.
