My dress was slinky and silver, the crease of my skin dove intimately between my body. But I felt good, the power was placed on me, always on me.

"Your hair needs to be up". Ally said, walking out of the bathroom. She looked fierce, and hot with her two piece set hanging off of her.

"You look good". I said as she smiled, pulling my hair up. "Thank you, it's Layla's". She said, looking down at the outfit, I could see it looked newly bought, not a single wrinkle.

"The party's starting girls". Layla popped her head in. And straight out as the music sounded from the walls dividing us.

"I still think you two shouldn't wait...". Ally said, giving her two cents which was appreciated, but I had it set in my mind.

"Going slow wins the race". I wanted her to understand why I needed to do this. Why did this way work for me?

"But slow is boring, grudgingly boring. I don't need to get a call from you in the middle of the night saying your vibrator broke and I need to buy you a new one". She said, shoving us out of the door. Layla had let us get ready here, considering her penthouse was about to be filled to capacity.

"Slow is safe". I said, looking out downstairs. Entering a hot atmosphere, perfect for grinding sweatily against someone. I needed this. A moment of peace, to forget everything holding me back.

I followed suit, as Ally walked down the stairs. She seemed hesitant to brave the wild crowd without a couple of shots of tequila in her system.

"Carina". Layla grabbed me, pulling me with her. Until we stopped in front of a man, his build was rough and rugged, his eyes danced over my dress. He seemed sincere, but my eyes were on the man twirling his drink near the bar. Intriguing eyes met mine, and I knew he wanted to see this.

"This is Adam, Carina, Adam". She said, as he looked at me smoothly. He was smiling. But his smile didn't make me feel anything, his smile wasn't melting my panties. It wasn't leaving me heaving. His smile was just a greeting, and that's all it would be.

Layla left us on our own and he messed up in the next couple of seconds, But I enjoyed the sight I was being rewarded with from Luca. Jealousy masked in his hands and on his face, he was angry.

"You look stunning baby". He said, my skin crawling back into my bones. I smiled, appreciatively.

His hand graced my shoulders and Luca's head cocked. He wasn't angry, but furious and I enjoyed it. Seeing him unravel.

His hand was now on the slip of my back, but his slimy hands were slipping. And that's when Luca was on the move. My eyes were back on a trembling Adam, just to avoid Luca's dagger if eyes. "Dance with me". Luca pleaded, and I looked between the boys and I.

"Why should I dance with you?" I asked, wondering why he had broken our conversation, that was entirely going nowhere.

"I miss you". He admitted. His eyes never even gazing over at Adam, just staying on my face.

I took his hand. "It was nice meeting you". I turned to Adam, who was already on the prowl.

"You made a sour face". Luca said, as his fingers enlightened my waist as they danced around my waist, leaving little tingles throughout my body. He was observative, more than I needed at this point.

"What'd he say, Cara Mia?" He asked, sweetly and sincere as he caressed my lips with one hand. "He called me baby". I said, and he let out a short laugh, he knew this was bound to happen. He called it.

"But I thought you wanted me to kiss him". I said, looking at Luca's master achievement plan. He wanted me to run back to his arms. But here I was already in them. And he did the running.
