"The table is now open for questions."

I don't know what's with our head. I had no choice but to obey her. She's from the sales department, and she's discussing the increase of sales every quarter of the year.

Mukhang mar-reach nito ang estimation, which only means that the plan for the project will resume.

"If there's no more question, then, the meeting is done. Dismiss."

I have to leave also. The only thing I can hear in the hallway is her stiletto.

She's talking about something I couldn't understand, and the only thing I can do is to nod. It wasn't that important, though, the way she tells it. When we reached the department, I immediately go to my cubicle and start my job.

"Psst, Callan..."

I grimaced when someone 'psst' me. I glanced at who it is, and my irritation vanished when I realized that it was Cybelle. She's looking at her sides, observing if someone is listening.

"Sama ka mamaya? May party akong pupuntahan. I invited some of our workmates. Sama ka na, please," she said. Ako naman ay napakunot ang noo.

"I don't know if I can," I answered shortly.

"Promise, saglit lang. Saka walang inuman do'n, ano ka ba. Kain lang." I squinted my eyes, doubting her words. I even saw her rolled her eyes. "Okay. May inuman---but you don't have to drink naman, 'e. Sandali lang tayo, promise."

"Pag-iisipan ko." I pursed my lips.

"Yay! It's okay if you can't, but I will be glad if you can. Sabihan mo lang ako." I just nod my head for her to stop bothering me.

I don't have anything to do this night, so I can consider her invitation. Minsan lang naman siya magyaya so I guess, hindi naman masamang pagbigyan siya. And one more thing, she won't stop bothering me about this, so I had no choice but to come. For world peace.

I don't want to conclude things but I have a hunch that he's always waiting for me there. Wala naman kasi akong ibang taong nakikitang hinihintay niya do'n aside sa'kin.

"Good noon." He's smiling at me when I sat in front of him. I intentionally sat on the same table as him because I have question. "Kumain ka na?"

Obvious ba?

"Kakain pa lang." I put my arms on the table and roamed my eyes around, as if this was the first time I've been here. "Oo nga pala. I just wanted to ask about...the..umm, car."

"Ah, yes. I already found one," he said and flashed a smirk. I nod my head.

"How much?" I silently prayed that it won't cost big amount.

"300 dollars?"

"I'm serious, Dillion." I frowned because he's not taking me seriously. Napamaang naman siya sa sinabi ko.

"Me too! That's the offer." He looked away. I squinted my eyes on him, and when he noticed it, he let out a chuckle. "What?"
