She's waking up the sleeping Kyla. We're here at the library, preparing for the final's week.

She scratched her head because of annoyance before attempting to sleep again.

Then Carleen handed her a water.

"Thank you, sis. Gisingin mo ulit ako mamaya after fifteen minutes."

And like what she said, she dozed to sleep again. It's really hard when finals week is nearby. It's exhausting. You really need to give all your energy to retain the information.

She's pertaining to the Engineering students.

He's probably busy at the moment." She just gave me a nod before resuming to study again.

The time flew fast and I just found myself studying alone in the cottage nearby the Eng-Dept.

I looked at my watch just to see that it's almost lunch time. I sighed as I glance at their room. Mukhang matagal pa ata silang palalabasin. With no choice given to me, I left.

"Oh? Nagkita kayo?"

Carleen welcomed me with her brows raised. There will always be next time for everything, I guess.

I fixed my glass as I took my seat next to her. We're in front of Kyla who's now happily eating his lunch. She didn't even acknowledge my presence. I tch-ed before turning my gaze back to Carleen who's still looking at me.

He will understand," I told her.

"Mukha kang patay gutom, dzai.

I need food."

"Char.

When I get back, they are on their usual routine. They are throwing shit at each other. I was so used to it so I let them with their 'bardagulan'. I placed my food on the table. I even saw how Kyla's hungry eyes followed it.

"Oh, ikalma mo 'yang bunganga mo, girl. Hindi mo pa nauubos ang baboy na nenenok mo sa plato ko," Carleen said when she also sees Kyla's reaction.

"Che! Diet ako." She snorted before continuing to eat her food.

We stayed there with our lunch for, I guess an hour. I lost my count because of these two obnoxious girls. We just talked about some random things but sometimes, their topic is unrelatable for me. I can even hear them backstabbing Liam, Kyla's ex-boyfriend, as far as I can remember.
