Draco's POV
My eyes fluttered open and I felt extreme pain everywhere. I looked down, which made my head pound. Cuts glimmered and shone in the candlelight. They were red and puffy. Puss squirted out of several, and some were green with black edges. I looked around and saw I was In my room. I looked around once again 'till my eyes landed on the time. 11:49am. That time. It reminded me of something. Oh, well. I wonder how Ginny is..."Oh, shit." I muttered. I was supposed to meet her for lunch in eleven minutes. I sprang out of bed only to give a yelp of pain and fell to the floor. "...ow." I shook my head trying to clear the spots. I saw my wand on my dresser table. I reached. Worth the strain and opening a few cuts, I recovered my wand. "Accio clothes." A long sleeved white shirt appeared, along with a pair of black slacks. I struggled to put them on. I was ready to go with only two minutes to apparate. "This is going to hurt..." I sighed, sucked in a deep breath. and with a popping sound and a whimper from me i apparated to a cafe that was called...'Starbucks.' I looked around for Gin and I found her sitting at a table by the window. I strode over to her wincing. "This seat taken?" She looked up and smiled. "I hope it is now." And with that I sat down. "So..." she said. "So." I replied. "How's D.C. going? You know...with Potter?" I tried really hard not to spit when I said the 'p'. She chuckled. "Good...i guess." She looked down. I began to get suspicious. "What happened." I didn't even need to ask the question. I knew something was wrong. "I don't know! I like him...he's the Boy Who Lived! But...I accidentally...might have...turned him on by...rubbing him? I didn't mean to, and I ran to the bathroom. I don't know why, I..."
I grabbed her hand that was laying on the table without taking notice. "It's ok. It's ok. Do you think you know why you did that?" I mentally slapped myself. You stupid prick. She just said she didn't know...stupid. "Well...I think I fell for someone else..." she whispered. But I caught it. "Hmm? You have to speak louder Weasley...I suffer from hearing loss." I said it in a mocking voice. Smirking. She laughed. "Well, good. Maybe people can say things without people commenting." I smirked wider. "Not. A. Chance." I shrugged. "But...if you don't want to tell me. You don't have too. Although...I heard you so, might as well tell me who you fell for." I looked into her aqua eyes. The corners of her mouth twitched as she stared into mine. "Your eyes...I always try to count how many shades of silver there are, but never can." I smiled. A genuine smile. "Try again." This time I opened my eyes wider. She counted on her fingers. "16...23....37....I can't. I lost count." I smiled and continued to stare. Making sure to turn my head to the side. "Oh, Merlin, stop it! You look possessed! Oh, god...thats a horrible look for you." I stopped and looked down. "Oh..really." She nodded and I looked up. But only my eyes. My head was still facing downwards. I bit my bottom lip gently. Shaking my head and making strands of hair fall in my face. "This look better?" She giggled. Ginny Weasley actually giggled. "Yeah...yeah it does." I tried to look as suductive as I could and it was working. She looked down but still glanced up every few seconds. "Looks like you found yourself a girlfriend, Potter." I looked at her and we locked eyes. I bit my lip harder, trying to hold in my fits of laughter. Gin was trying really hard too. I moved my foot up the outside of her leg. We lost it. I burst out laughing. Ginny nearly choked on her coffee. "I pushed you over the edge." She took a sharp breath in and a whole other fit of laughs set upon us. The whole coffee shop was staring at us. "Draco...I-I can't...breath." I laughed more. "Gin...I'm getting close...oh Merlin!" Her head snapped up. "Draco Lucius Malfoy!" She then slapped my arm playfully. I had to ball my fist to keep from screaming. A particularly big gash was right there. I covered up my wince with a laugh. "Draco...how has your break been?" Gin seemed concerned. "Well...uh...I only got into trouble once." I said it with a faint smirk hoping she would let it go. But she didn't. "Trouble?! What did they do to you...what is that?!" I looked down and saw one of the gashes bleeding through my shirt. White shirts really aren't my thing. "Well, Aunt Bella got mad and..." Ginny turned to stone. "Bellatrix fucking Lestrange is staying at your house?" I shrugged..."It's not really my house, more like the old Death Eater hideout, but you know..." Ginny raised a hand. "Follow me." I was curious so I did. We exited the coffee shop and walked down a road. I limped. "Uh, Gin? I can't exactly run a marathon here!" She turned around and gasped. "Oh I'm so sorry!! I forgot. Well, not really, but still...sorry." I shook my head and smiled. She pulled me in a shop. It had clothes everywhere. "Turns out muggles don't mess around when it comes to clothes. "Now follow me to the changing room and I'll look at those...wounds." I grimaced. "No, Gin! I mean, uh...its okay. I'll just let them heal. I'm fine." She rolled her eyes. Oh no, here it comes. "Malfoy shut up. You seriously just need to accept help sometimes. Gosh." But her mouth twitched in the corner, signaling that she was trying not to laugh. "Fine." And with that I was swept off to the back of the store.
