Ginny's POV
Mione left before dinner was over. I didn't dare go back into the Great Hall, so I went back to the Slytherin common rooms. The portrait rolled his eyes when he saw me. "You know that this isn't your common room?" I simply nodded. Even the Slytherin portraits could tell when someone didn't want to talk. "Professor Snape." He nodded, a little tersely, but it was a nod. I closed the portrait and turned around to come face to face with Blaise Zabini. I froze, my breathing labored. "Ah ha. What do we have here. Obviously a Gryffindor hottie that knew the password. What a pleasant surprise." He sneered. I just looked down and nodded. "Uh, well I best be going. Wrong common room. Whoops..." I tried to pry the portrait back open but turned to see Goyle holding it shut. He grinned, and I shivered. If I could get to Draco's room...no, because then, when he gets back from dinner, he'd be in a...bad spot. "Look Zabini. I'm not looking for trouble, but I will fight you if I have too." He arched his eye brows. "Ooohhh touchy touchy. Why are you here? I have the right to know." Sweat started to form on the back of my neck and I averted my eyes. "You know," He moved closer. "You spend a little more time than necessary with Malfoy, the old bastardly git." I bit my tongue so hard I drew blood to keep from retorting. Instead I responded as steadily as I could. "I did not come here to see Malfoy. I just...look, I'm sorry for a waste of your time. I'll just go..." he grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer. "Oh, love, It's not going to be a waste of my time. Not if I can help it." My breath caught.

Draco's POV
I looked around the hall. Neither Granger nor Ginny had come back. Either it was turning into an argument, or Ginny already went back into my dorm. I smiled, but then quickly stopped, searching the table for Blaise, who would defiantly sneer at me for smiling. I didn't see him. Or Goyle. Or Theodore Nott. The table was deserted except for a few first years. Then a thought dawned on me. It's their common room too...oh shit. I leapt up from the table drawing curious and irritated stares. I walked pointedly out of the Great Hall but before the door closed I made eye contact with Potter. He snarled and I quickly shut the door, there was no Ginny. I began sprinting down the corridors. Turning rather hurriedly. I receded down the steps, taking them two at a time. I rushed to the end of the hallway and pushed aside the wall. Then shouted "professor Snape." The portrait looked really confused. "I'm sorry. I am being forced to stay closed." I threw my hands in the air. "Are you fucking serious?! OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!" He looked at me with a bored expression. "Well now that you used that generous tone I guess I might really strive to get it open again." I slammed my hand into the wall and listened. Blaise's voice was rather clear. And I could make out every breath of one...two...three people. Ginny's, or my assuming of Ginny's was breathing the fastest. She sucked in a breath and replied shakily. "Look. I'm sorry...for the waste of your time. I'll...just be going." the Blaise's breathing got louder as if he got closer to the door. "Oh love. It's not going to be a waste of my time. As long as I can help it." Gin gasped. Then I heard a faint popping sound. Blaise...was kissing her. "Get away from me, you dirty little varmint!" Ginny retorted. Then he groaned rather loudly, and I guessed he, got kicked in his...area. Serves him right. "You'll pay for that one, Weasley." Then she screamed and then her screams became more muffled. And more distant. "No. No, no, no. This isn't going to happen. Open up!" I yelled hitting the portrait. Blaise's voice sounded from inside. "Goyle! Theo! Come help me with this." I heard a lumbering sound and as Goyle and Theo walked away to "help". The portrait spoke again. "I can now open," I sighed. "Gee thanks for the heads up." It rolled it's eyes, so I threw it open and rushed inside. The portrait stuttered in disbelief of being thrown open. But I just kept walking. The scene that met my eyes was so infuriating, I stood still for a moment letting it soak in. Ginny was on the floor and Blaise standing over her. He stepped on her wrists and she cried out in pain. Then he reached down a grabbed her breast. She gasped, and, for the first time the whole time I've known her, looked actually scared. Blaise bent lower, grimacing. He then stroked her cheek. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" I bellowed. "STUPIFY!" Blaise was blown backwards, and Goyle stood there in shock. then ran for cover near the sofa. I jerked Ginny up and shoved her out of the dormitories. She was close to tears and kept tracing her wrists. I pulled her up to the fifth floor and into a special room. One I had many memories with.
